The rich have been getting richer and the poor have been getting poorer for hundreds of years apparently
The rich have been quite slow at getting it all

Good to see our patriotic government eventually get round to thinking about doing something for their citizens in Sudan after leaving it to the evil EU countries to do it for them.

Ah yes, it was just the English, all alone, that defeated fascism.

Are you proud of the British Empire?

The English and the French declared war against the Nazis to defend Poland - the Russians made a treaty with the Nazis so they could divide up the spoils of Poland. The French did a deal with Hitler after invasion. Italy allied itself to the Nazis.

America didn't want to know the war in Europe but did give the UK logistical support. Even after Pearl Harbour, the US were going to confine themselves to war in the Pacific. It changed policy, because Hitler declared war on America.

Ireland remained neutral, and after Hitler killed himself, De Valera sent a note of sympathy to Nazi Germany.

So yes, generally, I'm proud of the part GB played.

As to the Empire, there was good and bad. Remember, your precious EU countries were creating their own empires at the same time. We were better at it, and the remnants of our empire now forms the Commonwealth which is a positive thing.

All this Lefty Woke stuff about England being worse than the Nazis is just ignorant people not knowing any history.

England worse than the Nazis? You're making stuff up again.

I've seen plenty of that Woke stuff on Twitter by posters with thousands of followers. There are people out there that believe it, and know nothing of Germany before it formed the beloved EU, via Common Market and EEC

Enlighten me, wise Col.

This government constantly pretends to be patriotic while doing **** all for its people.

I suggest you avail yourself of all the facts concerning Sudan, such as how many British citizens there are there compared to EU countries; why the FO wanted to secure a ceasefire before moving people to rally points; how our SF have already got our embassy staff out etc etc.
Have a go at looking at some facts before spouting your fatuous nonsense.

You don't understand patriotism, so there's no point trying to explain it to you.

That wasn’t very enlightening at all. It’s almost as if you know **** all about anything you Tory turnip.

Listening to the report from the BBC on the way home the royal navy have sent ships and the raf have sent planes
Bar knocking on doors looking for people is there much more that can be done

Once James Cleverly had had his long lunch, afternoon nap and picked up his dry cleaning he had a chance to read his e-mails.

Sir Starmer would offer himself as a hostage, and Dianne Abbott as a human sacrifice, in return for British passport-holders leaving on ships, women with penises to be saved first
