Labour’s chief whip has suspended the whip from Diane Abbott pending an investigation. So neither the man they wanted to be PM and the woman they wanted to be Home Secretary have the Labour whip. Both relating to antisemitism.
Two Just Stop Oil protesters who scaled a bridge on the Dartford Crossing, Morgan Trowland and Marcus Decker, have been sentenced at Southend Crown Court to three years in prison and two years and seven months in prison respectively.
Think Starmer has dealt with it quickly and well rather than just doing nothing and hoping it will blow over for a week before it blew up in his face as Johnson/Sunak would have done. The concern for Jews every now and again from right wingers is as touching as ever.
It plays into the cogent claim that Labour is still an antisemitic party. She's a ****ing liability and Starmer would do well to get shot of her.

There’s antisemitism everywhere. It doesn’t get the coverage relative to the level of it as other types of racism for some reason. I can’t buy the argument it’s worse from the left than the right.
It's bad in Labour, mostly, because of the Far Left's support for Palestine over Israel. It spills over from hatred of the (right wing) Israel government, to all Jewish people.
