My new local MP is one Nadhim Zahawi. Anyone know anything about him?

Just been told that a Daily Mail poll says that 46% want child killers to be executed. Only 46% of Mail readers?

Are the two facts linked, Stan?

Cleverly is on the Laura Kuenssberg program now. He doesn't know if Zahawi paid a fine, how much was involved, did all this negotiating with the tax office whilst he was Chancellor, doesn't know if Sunak knew.
For someone called Cleverly he seems very ignorant

Not sure. I do know that I got a Royal Mail post delivery this morning. I’m pretty sure it’s a Sunday, and am struggling to work out how this happened (it was definitely kosher, I saw the postie), unless it’s a ‘gift’ from Nads to his constituents……

I see Trevor Sinclair is back on TalkSPORT as a pundit following his rant about the Queen. Seems he played the mental health card which now trumps the race card. Whatever his problem is he's a sh*t pundit who has played the system...

The panel of guests for Laura Kuennsberg's BBC show this morning (to discuss, amongst other things, Boris Johnson) was Ian Duncan Smith, the Chair of Tesco, and Johnson's sister, Rachel. No hint of bias there, then. Perhaps the Chair of Tesco could have been replaced by the BBC Chair, who helped Johnson get an £800m loan.

I wouldn't have a problem with child killers being executed.

£800m! ****ing hell his alimony and child support bill must be truly hefty!

The whole thing stinks but it’s just another scandal that the public are numb to. He’ll ride it out as will Zahawi as will the rest of them.

Starmer had a curry though.

Hard to bring back a dead man when the increasingly strained and backlogged justice system gets it wrong. It’s no deterrent anyway.

If we can’t trust our police force not to rape people I don’t think we can risk trusting them not to stitch up the innocent.

Fair points.

Just like you can’t trust nurses not to kill babies…..or teachers/nursery staff not to molest kids…..or GPs not to kill old people (though you’d probably not be too upset at the last one, eh)
