Roaring a success as Brexit has been at achieving the hopes and dreams of all Brexiteers who still can’t agree what they actually want, I can’t help but feel this could have been better spent on public sector wage rises.

There's a shocking indifference to rules and standards by MEP's. Nobody monitors them effectively, it's like the Wild West. With criminal behaviour likely endemic, this gravy train stinks from miles off.
 
There's plenty of corruption in our own government to be going on with.

No doubt there are shady contracts arising from the pandemic that must be scrutinised, and as in Mone's case, legal action brought where there is a cause of action.

But that isn't as obvious as £1m bribes paid in cash to MEP's by Middle Eastern states. And this is not a one-off like PPE, it's a regular course of dealings by which third parties buy influence in the EU.

The European Parliament has a register of interests, and almost nothing is ever recorded by MEP's

There are definitely flaws in poorly regulated privatised industries. That's largely the fault of the regulators. In this case, privatisation did not cause the war in Ukraine
