To be honest myself and mrs hoops have discussed private education for the youngest who starts secondary next year.

The local option is a very snobbish all boys school of which mrs hoops gets a lot of referrals from, mrs hoops is a clinical psychologist….

Then you're ITK on this issue, Will. You infer there were head cases coming from the all boys school. I went to an all boys school (probably explains a lot!). My girlfriend at the time went a local girls' school. I'm grateful we were never in the same classes, my work would have suffered. Teenage boys surrounded by gorgeous young women in short skirts are easily distracted.

Lots of Islanders where I work
I'm. Always asking them where they are from
They all seem very proud to tell you
Never been bothered by the question myself
It's a good question

That's a key part of education Goldie

just as an fyi, the 15k a year (before schools activities, equipments, school trips etc) is post tax. So assuming anyone sending them to private school is actually paying for utility, mortgage eating etc you are looking at 40% tax rate payers so with NI its going to be around 30k gross pay

Yes, it is out of taxed income.

Apparently the mrs gets a lot from both the boys and girls school with eating disorders. It’s a pricey place and maybe it has something to do with how minted people interact, their relationships with their children?. Mrs Hoops went to an all girls and.. yeah teen girls can be absolute bitches, she dropped out and went to college, went on to get two degrees and is a leading figure in a field of psychology…

TRAITOR !!!

This particular establishment was ****ing mental.. after speaking with me I don’t think mini had a chance anyway. You have to buy a computer tablet thing through them for starters, which screamed iffy and I might have voiced that in a way that included the word bollocks. Oh they also do school trips/residentials/jollies to places all around the world.. average cost of a trip.. five grand, 2 a year!
