I really don’t get all this…..Biden is still making it absolutely certain that he believes an attack on Ukraine is imminent. Surely they must know something that we all don’t ? if nothing happens then doesn’t it leave the US looking like absolute fools ? I don’t include Johnson in this as he looks an absolute fool anyway Am I looking at this far too simplistic ?
If it doesn’t happen then he claims that the strong stand taken by him and his allies deterred Putin. If it does happen he says ‘I told you so’. Why would either make him look a fool? It doesn’t matter whether Biden looks a fool, we know that, however dodgy he might be, he won’t lash out blindly. Putin might if he feels he looks foolish to his own people. The man who is playing a blinder, from where I sit, is Zelensky, the non professional politician. Trying to keep everything calm, saying don’t panic, yet very clearly stating that what is going on shows exactly why Ukraine needs to join NATO. This is a long and complicated game of bluff and double bluff.

I am a little late responding to the posts about the protests in Ottawa and several other cities here including my own home town.I have to be careful what I say because that whole situation just INFURIATES me -this is not abut freedom as they claim because it is all so selfish and I really wish that they would stop waving our flag because they don't give a **** about Canada - strictly themselves. Using their children as human shields. Leaning on the horn day and nights and then they have h nerve to tell the local residents that they sympathize with them but collateral damage yada yada. I want to save my emoting for Hull and Blackpool so I will leave it there
