It was never foreigners that people didn't like, it was huge amounts of (often permanent) immigration.

Not according to some people who have posted on here. Brexit was all about right wing idiots wanting foreigners out.

I always said from day one that I didn’t have a problem with free movement of people as long as it was regulated and we didn’t let in the criminals and undesirables. Blair and Labour cocked that up and caused many problems from within.
I would have hoped that after Brexit we would always be a fair and welcoming society and that we do get the best people from around the World… at present there has been problems and they need to be sorted.

Yes, Ms Lee made a ‘significant’ donation to the Tory Party at a dinner organised by a Mr Yip, Tory councillor and prospective parliamentary candidate in Birmingham in 2018. The exact size of the donation is not available to the public as the Tories failed to declare it to the Electoral Commission.

But we shouldn’t take this too seriously as the Tories are having a bad week poor things, and doubtless Ms Lee only stumbled across the chance of giving to the Tories because of their close links to Jeremy Corbyn and Karl Marx. Imagine her surprise to discover that it was also possible to give money to people actually in power, as well as wasting it on empty spaces like Barrington Gardiner.

You will be okay mate. I’m sure a few old lefties will divert attention away from Barry Gardiner and blame the Tories but never fear after you have your Chinese you will probably want to moan at the Tories 30 mins late. :emoticon-0100-smile

Show me evidence where a Tory MP has taken £500k from a Chinese agent ( when they knew and still took the money) and I will condemn.
