The Getting Building fund is part of the Levelling Up fund. The road is owned by a bloke worth £15m. It’s possibly not the best use of the funds. What the **** does £300k get you anyway? Are they filling potholes with gold?

The figure includes the salaries of the police on duty. The actual incremental cost caused by the protest will be a relative pittance. Why is a Tory sex case like Shapps focussed on this supposed waste of money when we could have 60 such protests for the cost of one royal yacht? Protesting is a fundamental right this government is looking to eradicate.

They spent an extra million on vehicals and over time. Calling police from other areas. Because these wasters super glue themselves to the road during a pandemic stopping people going to hospital for cancer treatment, kids going to school and companies making essential deliveries...
