Lord Frost has left Boris's Cabinet. Big nail in Boris's political coffin surely

...and the resignation a day after Frost made a speech praising Rishi Sunak for wanting small state, low tax policies

Can't find the link Goldhawk. Where did you get it from.

As you say...that is a rat leaving a sinking ship.

Is this to do with accepting ECJ in the NI\Brexit negotiations.

The backbenchers won't accept that will they

Tom Harwood of GBNews tweeted it. Looks like Frost positioning.

There has to be compromise on both sides on NI, so the ECJ should have some role.

Yes also found it in the twittersphere. Seems sensible that it is about Brexit ( the deal that he brokered) and the concession to the ECJ... but others are saying it is because we are going into lockdown again...and he wants out....of the cabinet, out of the government.

But regardless... is that third hit and out?

Doesn't cite ECJ which was my first assumption. Tax rises one that I think we'll hear again.

I really don't think it's out of the question that Boris loses his majority at the next election.

Polling had Labour likely to win back 20 red wall seats before the recent scandals.

Lib Dems could make decent in-roads in the 'blue wall' (think South West and M4 corridor) because traditional Tories are angry at a Govt that has 'restricted their freedoms', broken the triple lock, raised NI and failed to deliver on social care. Another 20 seats here and Boris' majority evaporates.

I'd add a few London seats that I think could go red like Kensington and Wimbledon and bobs your uncle.

I'm reading he doesn't like Plan B and the prospect of vaccine passports. But I still say it's positioning. NI will be worried. He stood between them and the EU

I doubt Boris will make it to the next GE as leader. Frost is a huge and respected figure lost
