    I kept googling that soldier he mentioned but still nothing came up.
    Did Stan ever get the details of that scientist he talked about ?
    He’s like a Walter Mitty character and makes things up.

    Shame he’s blocked me as it would be an interesting debate about the correlation of academic success to intelligence......seems from what I’ve read he’s got it wrong again.

    Well I don’t knock people’s education or work. sadly it’s the same old posters that need to steep that low. I don’t mind as you often come across jealous people who have some infinity complex.
    I just support QPR. Shame I can’t say the same about you fella. You are more interested in silly demonstrations/protests than my club. I will leave you and the likely lads love in.

    As David Lammy pointed out, it’s true that Nigel Farage failed to win a seat 7 times.

    That said, Farage had more influence on public opinion than some MPs, particularly since their arrogance widened up a gap for him. Sometimes a seat in HOC isn’t needed.
