I am not happy with nuclear energy... never sits well with me after watching that Chernobyl documentary. I hope we go steam ahead (pun intended) with wind turbines, solar panels, and watermills.
Northern community leader on Sky today admitting that only 1 in 5 people that should be in quarantine, observe it, and instead go out into their community. No wonder rates are so high up there
That seems to be the case Goldy. Leeds city council want to have their own control and test and trace which localised makes more sense. Honestly, 9 out of ten up here dont and wont listen to any more crap coming out of Whitehall. They would pay more attention from their local leaders, whom can act quickly and more decisively.
Must be the way to go, Bob. Hopefully government will accede to the local leaders requests, they're on the ground and know their area
Breaking News: Starmer has actually committed to something! (the rule of 6) Although It was a bit naive to do so, especially when your shadow cabinet has been saying the opposite?
Refreshing to hear a question answered. In the last 6 weeks, the PM hasnt actually answered one single direct question at PMQs. This really should be seen on national tv to show what contempt he holds the British public in. Up north he is really really losing any respect and trust that he may have lied his way to gaining and thank god too. He is going to ruin this country.
Oh more on Johnson's energy promises, he was very selective on what was included in that, no mention of any industry... very good reason for that
I take your comments with a large pinch bob. In the political world you never really commit to anything (especially with the opposition) because it will always come back to haunt you. Even Jezza wasn't that stupid. He has now sided with the government on the rule of 6. many people including Tory backbenchers and some of the Labour shadow cabinet disagree with it. Where does he go now? Just wait for Christmas and families wanting to visit loved ones? stupid mistake to make.
What do you mean he has now sided? He agreed with them when they were implemented? Whether he agrees or not doesnt really matter in how Johnson acts upon them. The 10pm curfew question was painfully embarrassing to watch. Johnson is ruining a whole industry as just announced by Greenking pubs or whatever they are called. I really struggle to understand this rule, just as most of the country do. It's never been explained, no scientific evidence etc so what's the purpose? Johnson is really ****ing up here.
I know but he should never side with the opposition on something like this. You wait and see. People will be bitching at Christmas.
We have been in lanzarote for the last 8 Christmas periods. Going to be strange this year but we are still having a big family do at the in laws. Nobody and I mean nobody can tell me if I can see my family or not.
I also forgot to say that, yes I have been moaning about his silence but also said when he finally opens his mouth people will see. Today he did something stupid... especially when he was doing quite well in PMQs.
So if he agrees with the government he is making a mistake, if he says nothing he's criticised for sitting on the sidelines, if he criticised the government he's sniping from the sidelines? Is that right?
Dare I suggest you’re looking to deflect a bit from the Prime Minister being made to look like a useless **** who doesn’t know the details of his own policies, again?
