Thanks @pompeymeowth just checked out sexpest on GC. That was even more pathetic than this bloke on my faceache trying to compare my trip to the supermarket to Cummings jolly t’up north.

thought people saying Cummings having something on Johnson was a bit fanciful, however for a man that needed to be taken to court to acknowledge a child seems to back this ****ing liability well and truly above and beyond. Remember this is the same bloke who did a total u turn on the EU because he thought it could further his career so I’d have thought he’d chuck Cummings well and truly under the bus, probably one with a slogan about 350 million a week.

This is comedy gold! they have just gone back to the BBC and the sound went again! The funniest bit was the non-social distancing at the BBC trying to fix the problem. Someone said "this is a disaster"! <laugh>

This will do the government more damage than good. Look how annoyed Johnson is. This plays out better in my opinion. People can see the hypocrisy and lies and can now do whatever they like. I feel more is coming to this story, more that will damage this incompetent, corrupt government that runs our country. Every cloud and all that.

It does to people who think in that manner. Like I say, there are good, honest people and then theres the opposite.

Anyone with half a brain or even a quarter could see through that bullshit. I'm actually glad he didnt sack him as it makes them look a lot worse and does more damage in the public eye.

Not really. It says there are more important things to worry about. Like 700-1M kids not accessing their school work. The amount of abuse on Children in lockdown. The effects that this is having on people. So 'Unfortunately' I don't give a to22 what you think.
It actually amazes me how the government gets accused of diverting attention when there are many deaths and now... 'f22k the deaths'! all people are interested in is DC?
ON an important note yet again the death toll has fallen which is fab news.

I'm not saying it is... I am saying this is a storm in a teacup. No one will care in 6 months.
What is interesting is the PM has dismissed that 2nd sighting so they must know something we don't?
    Actually he avoided the answer.

yeah, he thinks he can get away with another lie ( be funny when the papers publish a 3rd story now).

thats the thing, no one will care in 6 months pretty much sums up everything.

no one gives a **** about syria, or libya, or grenfell, or saville etc anymore either (in the sense no one talks about that **** anymore or puts in the news)

It’ll be an opinion shared by vast swathes of gammon, unfortunately. While we have enough people in the country who will forgive literally anything because these people are delivering the holy gammon Brexit they aren’t answerable for anything and thus we’re no better than Russia.

Johnson took a punt on what side to take here.
I will see how this plays out over next day or so, but I am prepared to bet there will be ' lockdown is now over ' kind of mentality and a complete disregard for staying alert. This could backfire badly and undermine govt credibility.

It’s not so much that they’ll get away with it. It’s that they’re not answerable to anyone so unless they acknowledge it as being wrong they can argue night is day and be accountable to no one, cheered on by their base. We’ve become America and his support are the Trumpian yokels.

    This is my theory.
This has all been a bit of a deliberate story to have the actions that will no doubt be taken up by thousands and thousands. They want people to think **** it, if he can do it then so can I. They want people to go out and about of their own accord then no blame can be attached if and when a 2and wave comes. This has been a plan in my opinion. It's the herd immunity approach without shouldering any of the blame.
Now I'm sure many will say , what a load of ****, I talk rubbish blah blah. Like I say, this is just my theory and one that I personally think will enable society to get back with work and schools whilst hiding behind the slogan.

Have to agree Bobby. I probably would have asked him to resign but the PM thinks differently and politics is a weird environment?
Plus have to agree with more important things to worry about.
I did say that Boris didn't commit to the question of visiting a castle. I am sure KS will probably ask at PMQs.
