Ok so are you suggesting that not only genetics have a factor in intelligence, and not only that that the genetic make-up of Germans is inferior to that of the Brits? That is quite some claim, I'd be amazed to see a genetic study to back that up.

Like I've suggested I would think education, opportunity, poverty and other factors such as influence are massive factors. I'd think that poverty was quite a factor back then and when a public figure is telling you that it's someone else to blame and if it wasn't for them your life would be better might seem quite appealing, hence why rightly or wrongly parallels are being drawn with the UK today and the hatred by some people (and no, just no I'm not saying all Brexit voters) of foreigners and more specifically immigrants.

I'm not saying the Germans genetic make up is inferior to the Brits. Watford is saying the British electorate is not so intellectually sophisticated as the Germans.

Genetics and environment play a role in determining intelligence

I am not responsible for anything that happened before I was born
I have no reason to apologize for anything my father did
let alone anything his father did
or his fathers father
Kiwi,

You have to draw the line somewhere. You spend enough time ignoring Stroller's requests that you give an opinion just once in a while and instead bombard us with all sorts of ****e which passes for information from new Zealand. If the world were perfect you'd spend at least a couple of hours a day for the next 20 years apologising for carpet bombing us all in to a slow agonising death mired in the sheer volume of dross you manage to find.

but that would be apologizing for my actions
not my grannys
I think stroller is ignoring me so he wouldn't even know if I had a point

Richard Burgon MP
@RichardBurgon

The Prime Minister is putting workers’ lives at risk by calling for them to be “actively encouraged” to return to work.

Along with colleagues, I’ve signed this statement in support of putting people before profit

Why only 17? I thought the Labour MPs were all 100% behind Corbyn at the General Election? Surely they stand up for the working class?...

I give credit where credit is due... well done Kay Burley for ripping that awful Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner to bits. <applause>
She asked her simple questions asking what Labour 'would do/have done and is the government responsible for deaths'. She wouldn't/couldn't give a single answer. At one stage she accused Burley of "sticking up for the government"<yikes> Burley didn't like that and continued to press her. No answers. Like the last regime, no answers, no idea and no power.

This deserves to be the biggest story of the day.

Not really, but she has been very critical of the government and was asked to support her claims and she couldn't. If you can't support your argument, don't criticise?

I think the argument that the government is a car crash is valid nonetheless. As I said, it would be easier to offer a strategy if they made their info they apparently base decisions on available. Obviously they don’t actually give a **** about “the science” unless French and Irish people are considered less virusy than others.

Watford this isn't the Coronavirus thread. It was a political question and she couldn't answer it.
No good trying to argue this to death mate. Don't argue for the sake of it. The woman had no answers to a simple question.
What's more worrying is that she is supposed to be the opposition? It just moving deckchairs.

It’s not a simple question though, especially if you aren’t armed with the facts. Maybe she should have just flounced out of doing the interview at all like senior ministers boycotting Piers Morgan.

It's not the first time it's happened to her and won't be the last. Lisa Nandy would have made a much better deputy leader. Rayner is thick with a big mouth. Empty vessels and all that...
