There are strict limitations on what it can be spent on but then again we shouldn't be in this mess...
actually it is nothing to do with that. He started this to say thank you for the 2 times the NSH staff saved his life.
Actually I being defensive towards Capt Moore because some tw2t on Twitter is trying to score political points on the back of a 99-year-old. I heard Capt Moore with my own ears saying it was to thank the nurses and NHS staff for taking great care of him and saving his life twice. ... Nothing to do with the government. Why do people always have to politise everything? This is all because Labour got a kicking at the election and all the bad losers can't accept it (like Brexit) and are trying everything to undermine the government. Like you Watford every day you post noting but anti-government stuff. The thing is they are wasting their time because most people understand that this thing has hit us and things are changing daily. It's comical the amount of crap about the government or Boris faking illness. Keep ranting because not many are listening.
Bit ironic, mate. Most people are idiots, frankly, and not unlike Brexit or the election their opinion is being fuelled by ridiculous propaganda. We had nearly a thousand people die (officially, **** knows how many in reality) and the Telegraph ran with a puff piece about how the PM’s health represents our health as a nation. I don’t care about Labour and Brexit is done (ish). I care about the government we all have to share doing the right thing to keep people alive and balance that with the economy. So far, all the evidence suggests they’ve tried to save the latter first, ****ed it trying to make up for lost time on the former and now they’ve screwed us on both. If you want to pretend they’re doing great then go for it but there are examples elsewhere of governments getting it right and you won’t be finding much praise for our so-called strategy outside of our own country’s propagandists.
Coronavirus: Early prison release scheme suspended after errors A government scheme to release prisoners early to help jails deal with coronavirus has been suspended after six offenders were freed by mistake. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52334848 mmm I seem to remember pointing out flaws in this scheme and was ridiculed. Would anyone of those posters like to comment now?
sounds like another government **** up. Firstly, they released the wrong people. Secondly you seem to think this policy is flawed so tories messing up again?
I would. You were ridiculed because it was a sensible idea and you disagreed with it. That they’ve managed to **** it up neither vindicates your opinion nor suggests any competence from those in charge. If your reason for disagreeing with it was that they’d inevitably create an admin error then you’d have some right to make out you were correct.
It wasn't the government that let out the wrong people. If you read the article, you'll see it was "human error" in the Prison Service.
Yea but the government has to take responsibility for that ultimately. It was their idea in the first place.
Not really. The government gives the directive and the Prison Service act. If the PS cock-up then that's down to them. That's why the government put a stop to it. We can't keep blaming the government for every mistake that happens down the line.
But if the government hadn't decimated the prison service (along with countless other public services) then maybe they would have had the manpower to ensure that these mistakes weren't made.....the staffing levels in prisons, already at a low point, are being seriously hindered by COVID related staff illness - even though they have better PPE than the nursing staff.
Strangely the NHS was decimated but you don't see them making cock-ups like this? Some idiot made a cock-up and for all, you know he could have been an experienced person with no pressure who generally made a mistake. That's not Bojo fault. Bloody hell the government is getting blamed for everything. They really must of P'd off Labour supporters?
