Sir Keir is working class. There’s no candidate who isn’t going to be mocked a bit by our masses of ****ing moronic middle-aged Tory voters anyway.

What is it these days with "class" in England? I thought, or hoped, all of that bullshite classification was dead and buried 60 something years ago when you finished school.

And, while I'm at it,....So much monarchy sh*te coming from England again now, you can't turn on the news anywhere without being bombarded with UK "Royal news", in any country anywhere. All totally irrelevant to anything of real worth in our screwed up World today. Harry, whodafakisHarry? Does it matter a jot what all their Royal Highnesses do, or not do. No.

Working class people can go to grammar schools. His parents did very normal jobs. How dare he pass some exams and better himself.

It's increasingly difficult for working class kids to go to grammer schools, due to Labour's philosophical objection. Of course, it doesn't stop the likes of Diane abbott sending her son to private school. Starmer was lower middle class and he's worked his way up to upper middle class. He is not working class, any more than Blair was

That's a good thing anyway considering that Labour don't represent the working class any more.

Grammar schools are totally different beasts to 40/50 years ago. Still, Labour haven’t been in power for some time yet it’s still their fault apparently.

Starmer’s father made tools in a factory and his mother was a nurse who had to quit due to illness. He was the first in his family to go on to higher education. Not sure how he fails your working class test but you’ve got Col on board which is always a good sign.

A toolmaker's son, you couldn't make it up...<laugh>

The only challenger that even remotely understands the working class is Nandy, and she's come out in favour of freedom of movement which simply will not win the working class votes back. They look like a bunch of lemmings at the moment.

the people have spoken they want a bunch of old Etonians who **** all over the working classes whilst rewarding their rich mates. That makes loads more sense

As I said in my initial post, there’s literally no one who they could put up that some ****s wouldn’t mock. Good luck to him as he’s got the best chance of doing the business in five years.

Not if Momentum are still calling all the shots, he'd need to do a 'Kinnock' on them...

I think Kier Starmer is boring. Lisa Nandy would be a better person to listen to and she is not as slimy as him. I always remember her speeches.
I quite like her. I don't know what it is about her that sticks in my mind?

Then come up with something more credible than a Schoolboy Marxist who never grew up operated as a glove-puppet by Seamus Milne...

Yeah and the mocking of Starmer has been an incredible critique with cutting insight, mocking his parents careers and ignoring the support of the unions who definitely don’t represent the working classes at all <laugh>

anyway let’s ignore how well the Tory’s have been handling hs2, as they oversee the biggest spaffing of money up a wall in all history, and that takes some doing considering this government’s history.

No. It’s the sort of stupid ****s who treat politics like football. Yes they’re ****ed- that’s the reason they’re having a leadership election? To find someone vaguely palatable to the sort of people who clap like seals when Boris Johnson says something inaccurate in Ancient Greek and blame Labour for their kid’s school being closed on a Friday. Even white van drivers named Terry have a strong opposition in their best interests.
They've been in this position before and got to Power !
Difference now is that the media will constantly attack whatever they do and the sheep will lap it up !

As someone who has seen how Trade Unions work from the inside that really doesn't inspire confidence, they make politicians look like a Vicar's Tea Party...
