There are a small number of people who stand to make a whole lot of money out of No Deal. https://www.theguardian.com/books/2...-jacob-rees-mogg-willam-predicts-brexit-plans
I assure they’re all patriots and people like @Turkish" Premier" Hoops haven’t been completely mugged off.
Another remoaner clutch at straws moment, you crybabies just cannot accept you lost, get over yourselves, stop crying about stuff you have no control over, stop looking for reasons to justify your own inabilities to acknowledge the remoaner campaign spent more, told bigger and more porkies than leave and acknowledge the fact you will stoop to any lengths to stop the democratic will of 17.4 million people.
Another personal attack on a fellow board member......where’s Willy when you need him !! Ban, ban, ban........
I think they want a deal, but there’s intransigence on both sides. The EU made it clear when Johnson became PM that the May Deal was pretty much it, whereas Parliament rejected that deal and repeatedly wet their thongs over the Irish Backstop etc. What does one do in this event? Well, you Remainers would say Remain and us Leavers would say Leave.
Assuming his monicker gives a clue as to where he’s domiciled, it’s somewhat amusing to read how passionate Os is about the EU, despite presumably leaving the country that wants to Leave to live in a country that never joined.
What would that achieve though Stroller......people like Swinson (I think it was) and others have already said they wouldn’t abide by a decision of ‘Leave’
Yes it did - correctly so at the time - but we're now in a totally different situation whereby the deal that was promised can't be achieved and Parliament is in paralysis. There's no guarantee that a GE will change that, so a further referendum based on the situation we now find ourselves in - No Deal or No Brexit - could be the only way out. That position is irresponsible and plain wrong. I think Swinson has backed off it subsequently.
I honestly couldn’t find anything where she has changed her position so assumed that’s still her line. It’s all getting rather bizarre with idiots like Thornberry saying Labour would negotiate a deal and then campaign against it......these are meant to be our elected officials ffs............I sometimes despair
McDonnell reiterated Labour's stance on negotiating a deal and recommending Remain on Marr this morning, the EU now clearly know this so will not be giving us a sniff. Like playing poker with your cards all face up...
You are wrong again Uber. I left the UK because of Thatcher, partly, and chose Norway over the Middle East, though the money wasn't so good, it seemed a better place to live. Having later spent a year and a half in Kuwait admittedly, right after it had been invaded, that decision was probably right. Ended up Remaining there in Norway, haa, long before anyone had heard of Brexit. Norway are in the Single Market and Schengen which is fine by me, and I wouldn't be too unhappy if the UK stayed in the Single Market, even though they pull out of the rest. But as a big Country population wise and historically I think the UK should be playing a major role In Europe, that's not so important for little (population and influence wise) Norway, and they were a country with huge natural resources which I think they wanted to protect from the EU.
