May be anti-democratic but it's practice by both Tories and Labour. I don't know what support Raab has. I'd take Hunt, so long as Raab was Brexit sec and was able to get on with it.
Not just about what you’d take though, is it?

You seem clued in on the ERG thinking, will they back another ‘meaningful’ vote on May’s deal, if Bercow let’s them have a go, or will they gamble on a no deal outcome, and run the risk of a two year delay and a very slim chance that the Tories will have a majority after the next election (no one will in my view)?

No, Stan, it's not. I'm expressing an opinion if that's ok with you.

I don't think the ERG or DUP will go for May's deal. WTO is getting closer and I just want to get on with it now.

I've never wanted to strangle anyone more than Anna Soubry

I can sense your excitement about the increased likelihood of the No Deal exit that 'nobody wants', Goldie. I'm sure the ERG are equally pleased about Tusk's intervention.

Surely no one wants to change the political arena just to get a referendum guide vote through?

Raab ... Brexiteers didn’t even know who he was 36 months ago now they him for PM on here?

Oh and sod the other half of the country who’s opinion and stance has stayed stable for the duration... we like the EU

It could go through with the Kyle-Wilson amendment.

Back to a people's vote again. That has even less life than May's deal.

Apparently, Corbyn was going to attend May's cross party meeting tonight, arrived to see Chukka and Mad Anna in attendance and left swiftly. For once, I don't blame him

Shame Screaming Lord Sutch isn't around, he'd look positively sane compared to some of this lot...

The PM again rules out another referendum: "we asked you the question already and you gave us your answer."

How dare you such double standards May has asked parliament 2 times to back her deal and they have given you their answer.

She is appealing to the country tonight...and saying she is on our side....

But won't give us another vote ( second referendum or general election)

If only we had some form of viable opposition to this mad woman

Perhaps May's deal will still have some life with a referendum attached.
