But you still haven’t proved your accusation and avoid giving a straight answer, eh Ellers.
Not surprised.
Actually I have proved a point I made earlier today. Remember this morning when I mentioned about the usual suspects ganging up? Well boomerang boy is back with his usual stirring.
I have no problem discussing this matter with you but while the idiots are about I will leave for another time. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Ever thought of getting into politics, Ellers......

Still no straight answer

I think you will find that we will lose our veto / opt outs after the 2020 Lisbon treaty becomes active.
We had this discussion earlier in this thread and I asked you to post the links to the relevant clauses of the Lisbon Treaty which say this. You haven’t done this yet. Ellers then posted the same list of lies and couldn’t back it up, and again returned to it today. Like Esther McVey you are both wrong. I’ll eat my words if you can show me the EU documents which back up your assertion. But before you waste your time looking for it, just think. If this was true wouldn’t we have been bombarded with it by the Leave campaign all through the build up to the referendum? We weren’t, were we? Instead we got lies about 70 million Turks on their way here.

Don’t believe propaganda. There are plenty of reasons to want to leave the EU without making stuff up.

With respect Paul and at fear of repeating ourselves over and over.......

The situation we find ourselves in is not the fault of people who voted leave.
It is entirely the fault of the ruling elite.
Had we negotiated properly from the outset there was a deal to be done.

Now, it's all being fudged and there will be huge electoral repurcussions throughout England.

Hi Col sorry but many of us saw the problems of the deal very early on. I agree no fault nor blame given by me to a single Brexiteer voter. The result was respected and still is by me. However of that 17.4M I strongly believe that most would admit they know a lot more now

As a remainer I only have ever feared for hardship the U.K. will definitely face going on it’s own ... I have never believed that we are united enough to become what we were.

We didn’t negotiate a deal that is now fact and the tabled deal is simply ridiculous

I would like to believe that the nation at last can see our status a lot better today and accept the problems in a better light

Reasonable people do not believe that all the 17.4m hold the hard Brexit view. No deal cannot be allowed to happen we are talking about severe hardship for many people

I genuinely believed it was pointed out during the referendum campaign, but then again, my memory is crap and I may be wrong.
I thought I'd read it somewhere too, but hey, maybe not.

I’d rather debate it now.....:)

Unless of course you haven’t got proof and will admit to lying all the time by making false accusations against someone you’ve never met or had a beer with.
The problem is I could provide you with dozens of reports/news items/videos/ and so on about Corbyn and you would not believe it. That's why I don't think its worth discussing.

It looks like May will vote against leaving on WTO tomorrow. She's always been a remainer at heart and needs to go now

She’s your PM can’t keep on moaning
I believe you would be grabbing at straws to find to find a replacement... who would choose and why?

Think carefully a new PM that would pick up this mess and deliver a Brexit against a superior and fairer system like the EU ?

Ok my last on this for a bit.
You certainly did blame those who voted leave earlier in the thread and in fact you were very forceful about it.
There is no evidence whatsoever that people would vote differently in another vote.
We'd be just as split and in fact, I believe if it was a straight choice between leave on WTO terms and remain, the leave vote would win by a bigger margin.
The only reason there is a chance of no deal is directly because of all the lies, treachery and ****wittery of our esteemed leaders.

Honestly Col, it’s not true as far as I know, because I was so startled by it when Turkish first posted it that I wasted a lot of time looking for it. The stuff all comes from pro Brexit propaganda sites. Even Esther McVey has (gracelessly) conceded that it’s not true. If anybody can post the links to the real documents which say this rather than websites with an agenda, I will naturally apologise.

As I said in response to Turkish, there are plenty of legitimate reasons to want to leave the EU without resorting to this kind of stuff, which definitely does influence people who don’t have the time, resources or inclination to check it out. And that is equally true of unsubstantiated claims that the sky will fall in if we leave with no deal.

Anyone else have problems on here supporting Israel? ... I do and I like Jewish people the same as I like Arabic people

Ellers thinks people who hold opinions about Israel is therefore anti Jew ... the Jewish race live in all parts of this great planet as they should but imo Israel is a mistake

Ellers would say you have ‘a problem with Jews’........incorrectly, imho.
Has he shared a beer with you ?

I did and my views are just as strong as they were when I voted. I do not believe our country has the unity to restore the idea of becoming sovereign
And I still believe I am right based on the facts

No deal is a step into disaster because we are a divided nation hence why I prefer the EU every time

Not at all but the matter in how it has acted is shameful . I believe the creation method and history will always be a mistake

If you are suggesting that I would like to see Israel wiped out then you are wrong

I live with a Jewish woman

I wasn't suggesting anything as you well know.
I simply asked you a question based on your comment that Israel is a mistake.

Such bollocks this site.
