Should the UK remain a part of the EU or leave?

If she falls on her sword after losing tonight, it will strengthen Boles/Cooper coup to have Parliament take over negotiations I think

If she stays, she would have to be persuaded to take the UK out on no deal. Remainers in the cabinet would leave. Labour vote of no confidence...

But they have said Boles/Cooper vote would not be binding and cannot overturn Law. I would have thought the default would always kick in? 3-4 ERG seem to think this as they have all said the same on TV.

Yes, but it doesn't get around the club within a club point
That wasn’t the point Ellers was trying to make, but nice try at diversion. Anyway, we had the choice to join the club, probably wisely decided not to, and were prepared to live with the consequences. It hasn’t been an easy ride for the €, and probably won’t be in the future because it’s structurally flawed, but it was always obvious that those in the club would have slightly different interests to those who weren’t.
Go and bore someone else Bs. Like the Euro army that was never coming? It will happen
if you spread lies, even on an unimportant and irrelevant forum like this, I think it’s only fair that you get called out on it.

Bs, very witty.

It would be a clean break and end uncertainty. There would be some upheaval initially due to transition. A lot of the public would go for it, but I still have reservations about whether the Establishment would let it happen

No diversion was intended. It's yet another flaw within the EU in my eyes

I may have my wires crossed with another post...
I was on the understanding that TM could say we are leaving on 29th March and they cant do anything about it? Is this wrong because Moog seemed to say she could?
If that is the case or she quits then I would have thought on 29th we leave under default law with or without a PM... although I think they would get someone in ASAP.

Christ on a bike!!

The usual tirades of insulting, opposing opinions on here I see .

As for Brexit......

I said the day after the vote that the ruling elite would never let it happen .
We are now witnessing MPs trying to take over parliament against the standing PM's wishes, something that has never happened in parliamentary history. These are the extraordinary lengths these remainers will go to.

In an age of the worst set of politicians (on all sides) ever, we are witnessing unparalleled levels of ****wittery, incompetence, treachery and all round ****ishness.

I said a while ago that remainers should celebrate as they have won, thanks to the EU loving ****ers in Westminster.

Our ruling elite will suffer a huge backlash when this is finished.

May can ignore the vote against no deal later this week - it isn't legally binding. But it may have moral customary parliamentary force, and I don't think she's brave enough to head for no deal. We'll have more fence sitting while she's at the head

They won't get away with it Col. If they try and take over May will call a GE and the leavers like you/me and others would vote for people who want to leave

Agree. The question is, when is it finished? An extension looks likeliest to me. How long? A year? I don't think the public will stand for that. June, possibly, but we'll have to vote in the EU Parliamentary elections

Portillo said the EU and Remainers will want to try and extend for a year or even 2 (Macron) so they can take Brexit away from the people.

Owen Paterson came out with some great words to Starmer... "Remember 74 of Labour seats are marginal and 79 are majority leave, so you have an interest in respecting the 17.4m".

Col, Farage said recently that it's their plan to wear leavers down. Flood the media with negitive news and use the useful idiots to frustrate Brexit. All leavers need to stay strong and it will happen.
