CEO said in a global economy the U.K. does not enough to go it alone and government has been a disgrace

Brexiteers who want to play Churchill ... he didn’t have the real gear either a couple of wonderful speeches and a big slice of luck

Did the government tell Airbus to lie about its post no deal Brexit intentions? Not as far as I can see, it just asked them to make them public. It’s information that helps focus the mind.

Of course, in order to keep a few red faced middle aged men within relatively safe blood pressure range, the government should have said ‘don’t in any circumstances tell anyone that 14,000 jobs are at risk, especially those 14,000 workers; we’ll have a good time in a couple of years telling people that we did know this was likely to happen, but decided it would be in their best interests if we didn’t tell them’.

Airbus is a European company which isn’t even listed on the UK stock market. Just like Dyson they are attempting to future proof themselves. But unlike Dyson they didn’t tell everyone to vote leave and hope for the best, then say ‘bye, bye suckers’.
Ah don't tell me Ellers has interpretated something wrong. Oh dear

What makes my blood boil is that I have stated on here the gravity in which business is ready to up sticks as and when the time is right

Told to count my walnuts and was spreading fear

Like Airbus I am looking at another house here in France at the weekend ... time to sell up Mrs DT

No it just makes me laugh the amount of Chameleon's we have. The ones that try to pretend they are somehow better than everyone else when in reality they are just anti-Tory/Brexit clones. It's like the people who claim to be something then let their guise slip.

So did you misinterpretate some news or what? Your paragraph above explains very little

It's not the first time Tom Enders has opened his mouth. Maybe he should remember that we do things well in the UK. He is also talking about quantum computing for Airbus... Well he should realise that its countries like the UK that will be leading the way. Where would he set up these new plants, France? <laugh>
Before he starts threatening jobs here he should think.

So did you misinterpretate it ellers. I'm sure it's an easy mistake to make

You should have sen Chukka's face. <laugh> At least we won't have to listen to Vince cable go on about it!:1980_boogie_down:
I am also disgusted at what the AirBus boss said in Davos regarding it "being easy to set up factories somewhere else". His second in command has basically said the company was pressured into say this! What a bunch of nasty twats. Do they not realise how it makes people feel? As Farage said last night. The more they do this the more the British will stick their fingers up at them.

It doesn't help that he's German and clearly pro EU.

I’ve only read the usual ‘COULD move elsewhere’..........

Of course I COULD win the ****ing lottery tomorrow

All going a bit Pete Tong up here.....Big Eck alledgedly been a naughty boy, and Wee Nicola could be in deep trouble for having "off-the-record" meetings with him before the case came to light.....and he's now been charged, so the SNP are going to tear themselves apart, just like the Tories down there!

Ex-Scottish first minister Alex Salmond charged with attempted rape - BBC News https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-46984747

French newspapers say Toulouse as it’s presented as a boost over here

I’ll ask again.......Where does it say they WILL move their operation ?

It just pisses me off that all I keep reading is that things ‘COULD’ happen, and people like yourself then state this as fact.
I’m not saying any of this won’t happen, because of course I can’t see into the future, but then again, nor can anyone.
