Wouldn't it be refreshing if our elected politicians as eloquent as some of us are here...
PMQ's would certainly be more lively if terms like 'you're a cheese eating surrender monkey ' were bandied about.. :)
I actually thought Turkish quote about the French as very funny. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think DT needs to read The Times today as they are saying that Macron has spent too much and the EU might have to come down on him. it said...
"France’s deficit next year is due to swell from a projected 2.8 per cent of GDP (already uncomfortably close to the EU’s ceiling) to a rules-busting 3.4 per cent. That will make it the largest deficit in the EU in 2019 along with Romania".

You can see why he is unpopular especially doing an interview from a gold chair... Man of the people. <laugh>

He is toast Ellers what I support is the way that the French people unite when things are pushed too far and elected people allow power to go to their heads... if Macron visited the south where I am based you could even see an assignation attempt

Anyone with the old 75 on their number plate takes massive risks if they enter the region where I live ... history runs deep Maquis de Fonteyn

I know we (including me) like to rubbish opinion polls on here, but this one is of passing interest. Of all the groups only Labour supporters have a majority wanting May to go......

Of course, only Tory MPs and potentially Tory Party members have a voice in this one, so a bit irrelevant.

I think the only reason she is getting backed is because everyone is 2222 scared of Corbyn getting in. Which actually would be laughable because when it comes to it people won't vote for him.

Didn't the tories have a vote in 2016 to decide who was the leader. Didn't they democratically decide it was Teresa May.

Agreed it has all gone a bit **** since then, actually many things have. Maybe she hasn't turned out to be exactly what they wanted?.

But they cannot change their mind and have another vote can they? That's undemocratic I'm told!

Should not they be abiding by their 2016 vote?

oooooooh Look at you with that one beth!

Only problem with your analogy, is that May’s first vote was actually implemented.

Brilliant

172 Tory MPs have publicly supported Theresa May so far today.

Great, now we have a benchmark against which to judge how many are liars when the ballot numbers are in.
Funny you say that Sb as a sky reporter was outside the meeting and a Ex loyal cabinet minister said "the only thing that is 100% is that many of my colleagues are liars". :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It's not incorrect at all. If you could take your blinkers off and actually read what Beth put then you will see it is correct. Oh you don't read posts that don't suit your agenda do you Mr P. It really is like trying to talk to an 8 year old where you're concerned. I'm sure you're a decent gadge underneath it all but you do come across as very simple minded.
