What a complete farce and waste of time. Other countries must look upon us totally bemused.
So have I just heard that government has just given itself more powers and that if mays deal fails then they decide what we should and vote on it? If I have heard this right then that would kill off Brexit and democracy. Most MPs are remainers so we know where this is going.
Yes, thanks Goldie I was typing and listening.Seventh word should be Parliament, Ellers. I know that's what you meant. And, yes, it is ominous
Got a link for that Ellers? Not doubting you, but would like to see the detail.
Begs the question what’s the difference between being ****ed over by the EU and being ****ed over by your own sovereign government?

I have seen it either, but he probably means parliament has voted to give itself more power. Dominic Grieve had tabled
an amendment ruling out No Deal.

My old mate IDS has just explainedpanic over. As he said there is no such thing as a 'no deal' as we would be on WTO which the EU are members. He also said that there would be a free trade deal
Spot on Beth only today I was saying to someone "how the 2222 did we ever let ourselves get to this". Although it may cause people some distress, actually we are living through something very important in our country's history. It really doesn't matter what I think or I voted...
Can I just say...
I think this whole thing is just &&&&.
How have we all got ourselves into this mess. ( No I don't want he said this, she said that) ...just saying.. what ever your view.
Is there a way out?

Actually according to recent polls and talk on various media... Leave would probably win with a bigger margin.I think you'll find it means that whatever the government comes back with after May's deal is defeated, will be amendable. Which makes Norway, or even a People's Vote, more likely. I think it will actually give May a better chance of winning the vote, because the loonies would rather have her deal than risk another referendum.

This is what you all thought the EU was denying us isn't it? A sovereign parliament.
I agree, this is an incredibly important thing. And, eventually, the politics and international relations side will be resolved. The sad thing is that, however this ends up, whichever ‘side’ wins, the country will be worse off for it, in terms of the way we feel about each other, what it’s like to actually live here. This is about the only place I feel able to talk about Brexit, except when I am asked about it when I’m overseas. I would never mention it down the pub. We are close to the days of Roundheads and Cavaliers, the Red Rose and the White Rose. I don’t think it will get anywhere near violence, but the divides won’t be healed in my lifetime, we distrust each other much more than we distrust the EU.Spot on Beth only today I was saying to someone "how the 2222 did we ever let ourselves get to this". It will get resolved.

And I thought we had bad roads in UK? In France not only are you stopped but they burn your cars out as well.
