That comment coming from you bob is like an honour to me. As I have said I find it strange that someone needs to come on another teams forum and discuss politics when they have their own. I don't go on the Blackpool board and talk about towers, do you? probably not but I am sure you get my point.
I'm in the same category as Cologne Ellers. Yes we have our own thread but I've always liked the off topic threads on here and the politics one is actually one of the best on the whole forum. To be fair I live pretty much bang in the middle of Loftus Road and Vicarage Road so have a load of Rs supporting mates so it's natural for me to look in on all the local stuff etc. And I post on the other non football threads too.

All? Don't think anyone has ever said all. The only time I can thin when anyone has spoken in absolute terms is when you and other Brexiteers have said that we simply stand up to the Germans because they can't afford to lose their biggest market . They won't. The volume of sales will shrink but for as long as they have a reputation for efficiency and reliability which we don't, price will not be the sole factor in purchasing decisions.

As I drive up and down the motorways every week I rarely see British cars apart from Nissans made in Sunderland . We all know where the profits from those sales go. The vast majority are less than 3 years old and German. Who do you think buys them and why? Do you really think that all the commercial fleet buyers are going to stop buying the cars people want simply because they have to pay duties? The duties will be factored into the prices and the margins reduced because it is adman sight easier to sell Audis, Mercs and VWs in bulk than it is to sell Jags.

The same goes for white goods.

But then you probably know that already and like your political heroes are simply indulging in Operation Fear as a bargaining weapon against the Europeans. Or you are telling a white lie deliberately almost as big as the £350 million for the NHS each week.

Totally agree Woody! I would get Trump to build the wall for us as 48% would say we can't build a wall because they didn't know what type of cement was being used so we should vote again...Even though we all knew we were building a wall. What worries me are fans that sing songs about Elton John! <yikes>

Why don't you ask Tony Fernandes to build it? Would probably only take 20 years <laugh>

You really are a walking talking Daily Express headline aren't you?
It's all you get, soundbite after soundbite. It's far from being the 'will of the people'! It's %52 of the population who voted. It's all a farce from start to finish but luckily the total incompetence of the government means it won't happen.

Went to a gig at one of the Unis in Glasgow to see this band last night, this tune reminded me of you Ellers <laugh><laugh>

As Stan said, this thread has become very tiresome and far too personal.

I disagree Col. Its actually one of the best threads on the whole 606 board, IMHO.
Yeah of course it gets a bit bolshie and personal sometimes but we are all grown ups. If we can’t take it then we are able to not participate. I’ve been guilty of getting personal and had people get personal with me.....oh well, we’ll all live and i don’t take it too seriously.
Life is too short and tomorrow we could be dead.....this is just a pantomime and we should all realise that.
