    I'd much rather they didn't if they're half-hearted tbh ...

Id honestly be tempted to change to a 5-3-2 for the first leg.

Cirkin and Hume as wing backs with O'Nien the left sided CB and Mepo right with big Dan Ballard in the centre.
Neil, Jobe and ELF in the middle with Mayenda and Isidor up top.

When we played them few games with them 2 up top we created teams all sorts of problems. Especially when Mayenda was getting the ball a little deeper and running at the defence then his thru balls to Wilson.

It won't happen but Coventry wouldn't expect it and I think it could work.

Pace. I like it. Doubt we will see it mind.

Imagine that on the break man.

I agree. Lampard has done an incredible job and points are what matters but without even looking I know for a fact they’ve won 4 games deep into injury time. Those 10 points are probably the difference between play offs and mid table for every other team bar us and Sheff Utd. We are good enough to beat them but we need a total mentality change from what we’ve seen for the last 2 months and they’ll be right up for it.

Perhaps this will be the chance for Watson to gain ultimate redemption by being part of a play off win. (I have to live with some hope)

I don't believe their confidence is as strong as they pretend tbh.

They were poor at Derby, lost 2-0, and not much better at Hull in a 1-1 draw.

Together with the defeats to two relegated teams and the last month hasn't exactly been too great ...

... their away form is poor and they know it, trying to defend a lead isn't their forte.

They beat WBA who sacked Mowbray a few days later and Boro who looked a bit of a shambles.

If we can score there, or keep it tight, their fans will revert to type and go quiet ...

... they only have three songs in any case, all shyte <laugh>

Has to be Mayenda up top for me. Wilson just cant offer that hold up option that Mayenda does. If one had to be wide it would be Wilson but I think he has played himself onto the bench personally. Watson simply has to start. Best wide player barring Mundle.

I'm sure his remit would have been qualify for the play offs, he's done that. We can't give coaches targets, then when they reach them tell them that's not good enough.
I believe the people calling for him to be sacked are doing so on the last 6 games because they weren't entertained
Yet the result of being so lacklustre in the last 6 games maybe what results in us winning the play offs

Roberts and ELF wide really makes you realise how much we miss pace out there. I was reading some stuff on twitter calling him a waste of a transfer but he’s not been utilised in his primary role once. He hasn’t got the pace to knock the ball past defenders and take them on meaning he’s really predictable out wide he has to either go backwards or play the ball inside.

I wouldn’t mind Mayenda having a go on the left tbh him and Isidor link up really well on the counter.

To be fair there are coaches people wanted here who totally failed to even make the playoffs …

    … Robins, Mowbray, Carrick, etc.

I’ll criticise RLB if he gets it wrong but not because he doesn’t do what I’d like.

Personally I’d approach the first leg as the home match and vice versa.

They’ll leave space to attack a poor defence in their home game and I believe we can score a couple …

… if they come to the SOL needing a win we can play them on the break with Isidor/Mayenda against their second choice defenders.

But I’ll support whatever he puts on the pitch tbh.

Think the owner started making decisions behind Robins back including sacking his assistant. Still rate Robins more than Lampard. Fingers crossed Lampard will be found or again -by us.

I'd definitely start Mayenda wide if Mundle can't start. He's always looked a threat from wide and seems to have a knack for threading balls through to Wilson when they play together which could be vital if we wanna play on the break on Friday.
