I only read the first couple of posts. I will not be posting myself as I don't want the constant notifications from it as it'll be anything but football discussion!

So if Liverpool are interested in Robertson does that mean the interest in our Chillwell has died down?

Kane's too good to sit on our bench mate. The lad needs game time.

... could happen ... Neymar Snr is currently without a club ... and is probably younger (and quicker) than James Milner <whistle>

I'd suggest that he might replace one of your top strikers, but you don't have any! <laugh>
I think that they'd sell to you, honestly. Would he join, though?
You've got competition for a place up front and no European football would reduce his opportunities to play.
Might depend on the manager assuring him of a starting place.

I think Chillwell was always a long term plan, can't see it myself.

It is rumoured we're after 2 LB's. One experienced and one younger. I'm hoping Klopp see's this Robertson dude as the younger one. I really don't fancy him as our first choice...

Saying that I don't know anything about him and don't even remember him from last season tbh!!

As mentioned already - we have Musa and Ndidi who are 'big stars' in the Nigerian national squad - that might help ... the conspiracy theorists might reckon that we are going to cash in on Vardy? ... but that would be daft ... wouldn't it? <whistle>

Would it? It depends on how long you think he's got left at the top.
His pace is a big part of his game and his value probably drops from here, so I can see why you might want to cash in.
It would be a big, big call for Shakespeare though, as his job would probably be on the line if he got it wrong.
Given it's his first permanent management position, I'm not sure he'd want to take that risk.

Isn't Musa on the way out after having a pretty poor season?

I can see you'd want someone ready. I hope chillwell makes the position his own for years to come and takes over from fuchs who is a class act in himself but is not getting younger. I can't think who Liverpool might realistically go for otherwise though

  10. I listened to a little bit of TalkShite earlier this evening, and Goldstein and ****y were talking about United buying Ronaldo, and taking calls from fans about whether or not it would be a good thing for United to spend £120m on him.

These two twats convinced themselves that United would be better off spending the money on Kane.

    I kid you not!

It was as though Levy didn't exist!

It was as though the fact that Kane has made it crystal clear that he wants to stay at Spurs never happened!

It was as though the fact that Levy hasn't sold a star player to United for 9 years (and then only because that player was a **** who threatened to go on strike) wasn't a fact, at all!

It was as though these two ****wits didn't realise that Levy wouldn't piss on Mourhino if he was on fire!

At one point, they had a United fan (with a London accent almost as wide as ****y's) who actually said that he'd take Ronaldo but only if they could get him for £60m - no, please, don't laugh! This was followed by another United fan (with an Asian accent) who said (and I quote) "It's about time that United went and got Kane!"
    <doh>

Murdoch is desperate for United to buy glory. The plastic fans are desperate for United to buy glory. Mourhino (The Soon To Be Sacked One) is desperate for United to buy glory.

    It isn't going to happen.

I enjoy Talksport, when I'm cooking or driving...it's the same as this place when it comes to football chat and bias.
