It's great that it seems to have stuck, I always struggled when on a night out as I don't like the Fosters, Carling crap that is normally available.

 

Estrella and Moretti are decent on tap.

As soon as someone like Interbrew or Inbev get hold of them and start to mass produce it in a field somewhere in Wales they'll **** them up like they did Peroni and San Miguel.
Both of those are now ****ing dangerous to drink!!

At least Carling is consistent.

Consistently undrinkable piss.

 

I always look for a lager that's brewed in its country of origin, not on licence in some factory in Slough.

 

I'm the same, completely different drinks I won't touch San Miguel in the UK.

 

So why bother with Carling.

Aldi special, Galahad, 4 cans for £2.15

 

Never tried it. Not saying all cheap lager is ****e. Lidl do some great cheap Cezh and Polish lagers. Carling is **** though, whatever the price.

 

I've tried the Lidl beers and not a fan, funny aftertaste to them or they are pilsner style which I don't like. One of the biggest load of bollox in this world is that German beer is good, it's pretty poor overall.

 

It's very cheap and cheerful and a bit ****, but my point is why drink Carling if it's just to get pissed when you can do it cheaper?

Maybe RHC actually likes Carling

Might as well drink bud

 

Bud is actually 5.0 it's the most potent fizzy water on the market.

 

Might as well drink a pissed up tramp's piss. It will be stronger and better tasting.

Some of the best beers in the world are made by the yanks mate but I've banged on about this before. Take a look outside of the Bud and Miller crap and you've some great beers Brooklyn Brewery, Sierra Nevada, Anchor etc

If it had alcohol I'd give it a go.

 

I like becks in bottles, Heineken export in cans, and 1664 on tap.

That jap beer Ashahi? That's not bad

 

One under licence beer that's good is Sam Adams Boston lager.

Great in bottles and tap, not that it's that prevalent.

 

I generally don’t like beer in cans. If I must then I can happily drink red stripe or Heineken. Kronenbourg is ok too.

I hate all those American lagers. They all taste too hoppy and flowery.

Wish the kronenbourg in this country was as good as in France.
