Sensible, Mrs Lalala's "bobo" is safe from me. Having a Dad that's a 'twitcher' I switched off about anything with feathers many years ago unless it was tall, leggy and had ample 'charms'. I did'nt mind if there was a pole involved.

I see the soaps have finished then. Forgot to mention that I'm sorry to hear of your dad's illness mouldy. Is he a nervous twitcher or is it something worse?
You may mock about watching soaps sensible and they may not be realistic but they are more realistic than that penalty "foul" on Saturday by all accounts

Its an illness he has had for many years which he has shared with the man next door, which in extreme cases like theirs meant getting up very early at weekends to drive to wales or norfolk just to see one type of bird.
I have suggested in the past that the birds I was interested in 'perch' on my lap and all I have got was abuse and slung out of the establishment!

There was only one soap on tonight so is it mid week hair washing night or something? I'm exempt that one since my accident with my wife's hand holding a shearing machine. She said it was an accident anyway but if it wasn't then it was my fault.

It's a bit quiet in here tonight again isn't it? I hope plymborn isn't making his way across country armed with his bus pass. Lock your doors next Friday week when he should just about get here.
Anyone else a bit bored with this run up to Christmas? My Mrs went shopping today for some last bits and pieces and said there was little good cheer about anywhere and it didn't exactly seem festive. I noticed all the soaps tonight are building nicely for their usual crap Christmas disaster. Why is it that 99% of the Country have an ok time but in Emerdale, Walford and Wetherfield every disaster going always happens in the last week of the year. Spooky really. You always get programmes that look back over the year just gone as well. I think I'd rather forget this one to be honest as it hasn't been the greatest either news wise, personal wise or even football team wise (again). Still, onwards and upwards as they say. You can always rely on somebody in a soap to have a worse time than anyone else.

Know what you mean Sensible Eastmoaners will have two horrible things happen this christmas ..... Corrie a fire not heard whats going to happen in Emmerdale yet .... wonder if its deliberately done so that it makes you think your christmas hasn't been that disastrous lol
