It was snowing for awhile this morning............and there on the nut feeder was a Parakeet...........not bothered about the snow...........all the other birds had sodded off.............I thought they originated from the tropics.

plymborn just stop it. It isn't healthy. I bet you've been banned from Africa and safaris haven't you. You must get another hobby before it gets you arrested. In your case having a nut feeder in your garden is classed as grooming.

Welcome back sensible. Let me be the first to admit that I was at the party and I will sort out a new lock and crisps for the cellar. I will also get some new wellies for you as well. You missed a great party and plymborn, I won't say where the feathers came from if you don't!

I must tell you Mrs LaLa......(and without mentioning your little friend by name).........It was sleeting again this morning and as I looked out into the garden..........I saw for the first time together.............a Green Woodpecker digging in the lawn...........a Greater Spotted Woodpecker on the nut feeder.........and a Parakeet having a go on the the fat ball feeder.........all within a few feet of each other............it only needed a Jay to turn up............. and that would have been a full house for the more really interesting birds for this area............I'm just a mile or so inside the Greater London boundary.........but it is quite wooded around here.
See it's our feathered friends in general that I'm interested in, not just you know who...........who is visible at the top of my screen as I type.

I think it was fair enough hp_bedoboy which is rather alarming having been at the match. Hereford were rubbish. Now having said that and the fact that 1 - 1 was fair then it says a lot about how we were without going into detail. Not only that but we had to come back from a goal down. The standard all around in this game was poor and you have to ask what happened to the side that tore Northampton apart in the last one at home. This now come back to the question flash in the pan the last time or a blip this time and it isn't the same old same old Argyle and this is our true worth and level. By level I mean relegation fodder. I sincerely hope this was a blip because if it is the norm then we are F***ed.

Sensible, your crisps will be in the cellar monday morning and the lock and wellies, I will bring in on tuesday. You will have to guard everything yourself until the lock arrives.
Plym, you are very lucky indeed to attract such wonderful visitors to your garden, woodpeckers are a favourite of mine, I am also near woodland but only see them occasionally. Your parrots are a big added bonus.

However, I would point out that it isn't me chained to domestic appliances at weekends or any other time. You should be seriously worried about plymborn. He isn't a young man and to cure obsessions at his age is nigh on impossible. Don't blame me when somebody is seen lurking around your house in the dark with a parrot sized hood and rope in his possession.
