The purpose of my original post on this was to reply to the cosy cosy chat from somebody I regard as anti Argyle rather than a contributor to this board. I pointed out that not everyone was fooled by the supposed change in attitude and that I had no regard for him. What I maybe foolishly did not intend was for a renewal of a war of words between posters and would ask for people to simply continue to ignore him rather than entering into the same old crap that used to be on 606. Let him stay and it is up to other posters to decide whether to respond to anything he has to say or not. Good point regarding the given reasons for hating the club though greenjock and the change now but lets leave it there.
And I think anyone with half a brain cell on here who used to post on 606 will remember that when you started with your **** I responded taking the piss out of the hell-hole that is Stevenage, then you started with your personal insults to anyone and anything Plymouth. When you got personal insults back you couldn't take it. ****ing keyboard bully who can't take it back. Anyway enjoy your time chatting with fans of the team you cannot stand? Makes good sense in Stevenage I guess.

OK Shrewsbury you are entitled to dislike or even hate Argyle. But it begs two questions. The first is obvious which is why exactly and the second is if you do hate them so much why would you bother to take so much trouble to post on their forums? If you actually wish to continue on here then answers to those are not too much to ask.
Sensible, In wishing to answer your questions I really don't know why I hate them so much. They have never beaten my team in a cup final or relegated them, and I also have a lot of good friends who support Argyle. I don't know why I can stand butter but I just do.
As for the forum, I honestly joined 606 to wind a Stevenage fan up as I knew every lunchtime he would put his feet up on his desk and read The Boro board, so I joined and fed him with a croak of crap about Stevenage signing players and even said they were signing someone with his name. That is gospel and at the same time I banged some rubbish on the Argyle board not expecting a reaction but I did get some verbal back and the rest is History.
I do like coming on here as even though I don't always contribute much constructive, it's very informative and quite amusing when Devonsurfer got a good shagging as it took the heat off me.

So I was right then the object of the exercise was to disrupt rather than contribute. It is not the same as disliking butter. That is a taste which people either like or dislike for a reason. To dislike something like a football club has to be a rivalry thing or because something bad has happened to you which leads you to that conclusion. I don't like Man U because the club has too many armchair hangers on because of Sky TV which takes kids away from supporting their local teams. Ok not a good reason but at least it is one. You cannot hate Argyle for the same reason as it has never had either that reputation or opportunity. If you are going to state hate or dislike for something you need to at least know why rather than just state no reason at all.
What do you want me to say then Sensible, you tell me why I can't stand them! Believe me or not I have a kinship with Plymouth Argyle and If I give away too much then my identity will be blown as I am 100% that there will be 1 or more users on here that will know me if I go into too much detail.

Ok, as said you have every right to dislike the club. But is that any reason to spoil football supporters enjoyment of something like a football forum by simply disrupting it? The club may have done something to you in the past but the supporters have not unless you are Dan Macauley.

Nothing in my previous posts were intended to hurt or even criticise yourself Mrs Reid. I have looked back and can't see where you may think there was any. The cosy cosy chat comment was referring to Shrewsbury's attempts at conversation not that others were engaging in cosy chats with him. Other than that I can't see what could be hurtful. As you can see I have not "kicked off" again and in fact have been very civil. I merely engaged in asking a couple of,what I thought were, relevant questions given past history. I also stated that my original post was not intended to cause any renewal of conflict but me giving an opinion on somebody who posted nicey nicey comments on here yet continued to slag the club off elsewhere. If you are or were offended then I appologise.

I hear by apologise whole heartedly to all creatures living in ponds (or any expanse of water really) the world over from the smallest amoeba to the largest crocodile (like that big one they caught the other day) My comments where made in the heat of the moment and showed a thoughtlessness and callousness beyond the lowest levels of human decency and an inexcusable lack of tact and decorum.
