Mr Shrewsbury Town. No it doesn't make you a local or anymore welcome if you make concilitatory noises on here from time to time in my book. I don't find you entertaining in any way so therefore you do not qualify to be entertainments manager either. I did not like you from the beginning under any name. I did not like you at anytime in between and don't like you now. Making kinder remarks on here whilst continuing the slagging off in the Herald comment section on Argyle shows you to be the same person you always were. Personally I would like to see you disappear altogether from this board but am not about to throw any toys out of my pram to achieve it. If others wish to allow you to remain then that is up to them but for me you still aren't worth taking any notice of and have nothing to say that I would be interested in. There you go, no mention of wife, kids, mother, father or uncle Tom Cobley but my opinion of you nonetheless.

To sensible. Can I just say that I fully understand your reasons for disliking Thunder/Shrew and I don't blame you for not wanting to "play"
but what I want is a nice peaceful community here - especially in the bar and I think here on the Plymouth boards we have always had that which I think makes us greens pretty special, I would like that to continue. Thunder is trying to behave here and for that reason I can't (even if i wanted to!) ban him. What he says elsewhere is of no consequence to me, all that matters is that he behaves and contributes here even if we don't agree with what he says. Sensible, if Thunder had said the things to me that he said to you I doubt I could forgive him either but I do know he deeply regrets saying them and did so immediately afterwards, I have had pm messages saying as much but he knows he went too far for you to change your mind about him. Can I just suggest you use the ignore button and that way you cannot allow him to wind-you-up.
Thunder can I ask that you continue to behave and to also use the ignore button, that way you cannot enter into counter attacking posts.
Apart from the initial trouble we had with Thunder my job as mod has been a walk in the park but the last thing I need is for valuable and much respected members leaving this forum, it would be all the poorer without the likes of sensible and plymborn and yes even Thunder has contributed.
BTW I asked for volenteers for entertainments manager from day1 and Thunder is the first one to show any interest!

You can get quite wound-up at times Mrs Reid..........but you are right in what you say..........so there you are sensible, a little spanking wont do you any harm........zap him at the moment and check him out later and take note if anyone else gets upset by him.........at the moment he's on my zap list.

I don't have to be the big anything oldnickyb. For me he is not part of this forum and never will be. He doesn't wind me up and my skin is very thick indeed. What I objected to previously was more the intent to disrupt the board and to stiffle any real discussion that might break out by jumping in with vitriolic comment intended to deflect the purpose of the particular thread. Mrs Reid, I am not about to storm off with vows never to return and I don't think anyone else would be thinking that way either whoever comes on here. I simply don't like the character and don't find anything he has to say remotely interesting. He may behave for now but I doubt the leopard will change in the end. I don't expect you to ban him and haven't asked for that either here or privately as you know. I don't read your post above as a rebuke either or a spanking or anything else. You have a job to do as a moderator which I would not want to do myself so have no complaint about decisions made. In future I will refrain from comment in his case but will also not recognise his existance on here in any capacity. It is nice to know that oldnickyb loves me though................

Sensible, I must admire you for your posts about thunder. If he had said to me, what he did to you, I don’t think, sorry I know, they would not have been half as polite as yours. He crossed the line by a long way and I know he has stated he regrets what he said and that he wants to contribute properly to the forum. I do think he should have gone away for a few months, let the dust settle and then come back and post. There is a vast difference between ‘thunder’ and ‘shrewsbury’ and under his new name he does seem to have something to say which I am prepared to read and possibly reply to if needs be. If there had been this ‘break’ I don’t think we would have known who he was and would have treated him with the respect that most posters deserve. This is not meant to be a criticism of you or your stance in any way.
I am more upset with the ruination of good discussion mouldy than any comment he made to me personally. As said my skin is very thick. Not sure picking on a sick baby is good copy however and some things are not sayable or forgiveable if said. Just because steelthunderballs lacked class and showed himself up however is not my complaint. I don't care if he posts on here under any name. I won't however consider him part of this "family" for want of a better word. The thing about words is that you cannot unsay them and people don't forget just because somebody says sorry. A word I have not heard in this instance either. You cannot spend months and months making it almost an obsesseion to deride something and then expect others to respect your oppinion just because you claim tohave "changed".

True sensible, I can remember him 'changing his ways' on bbc606 once and claiming he was a west ham fan but soon reverted to his old self. The things he said about Joe's baby were just unbelieveable.

I live with a teacher and a daughter and when they are in full talk mode it is nigh on impossible to speak except to say 'yes dear' in the right places ( when they take a breath)!

You bombarded the Argyle 606 site with allsorts of **** before you got any back, and without provocation.
