Yep but I'm a bloody good swimmer aka. I was the personal coach for the shark in Jaws and Nimo's dad.

I tried to watch Dr.Who last night Gat and have to say I didn't understand a bloody thing either so you are in good company. I remember watching it with my kids when they were small and it was much better than all this modern computer graphics stuff. And they were scared of the Daleks and Cybermen.

Come on folks you have to laugh and stick two fingers up to the World don't you? What else is left for us right now. I have a suggestion for a change in football rules. My son reminded me of this yesterday. In the old days it was always fortress Home Park. Now why was that I hear you ask and even if you didn't I will tell you anyway. Many moons ago when he was but a lad, away teams travelled on the day to our ground. Now for a lot of them that was 8 hours on a coach, get off, get changed, get beat then back on the coach for an 8 hour trip home. Not good enough these days even for 2nd Division players. Oh no, they have to come the day before and stay in a hotel. The plan therefore is to ban day before travel. Simples really.

Oh the good old days Sensible, I can remember Umbrella Viv on the halfway line, crowds being so big at time you could only see one goal area through the crowds and prayed that if Argyle scored it was at the end you could see ..... Argyle beating Santos and the team being so pi$$ed of that they'd been beaten by a Div 3 team they sulked got back onboard their coach without signing autographs ..... I don't know if any of you remember Neil Ramsbottom (played in goal for us in the 70's) he loved Argyle, but Argyle didn't like him lol .... he's asked me to pass on a message to the Green Army that he keeps up-to-date on whats happening with us and hopes we come out the other end of this mess and he thinks we are a great club, and with the catchment area down here we should be in the Prem

Gat/Sensible I'm with you both on dr who-when it was just Jon Pertwee and the brigadier against the master I could just about understand the plot.Gat re the 7 mysterious signatories -i just don't care anymore i'm bored with the whole frigging mess. All I ask is to go up to Home Park and see a win, don't care if it's against the local pub team in a charity match-just want to see us bloody win a game.

    Bring back Fallon...................

Damn Gat, I thought it was more exciting than that.

I still believe we will start winning playing good football. All we need is a bigger/big chap to partner Feeney.

I have to admit myself that Fallon came into mind during the match though he was more often than not inacurate.

Whilst we're on the subject of confessions <whistle> I ahem spent last night in the Gillingham cafe, well there were no greens around and I needed a shoulder to cry on...

BTW AGG, I echo your sentiments.

Sensible-name me one team in league 2 we could beat at the moment on current form i'm afraid I'm at a loss.Having gone to the Torquay v Crawley game last Sat i feel somewhat despondent. On current form The gulls would have beaten us 4 or 5 nil and Crawley would have run up a cricket score against us believe me Crawley were in a different class.

Sensible.............forget the champers.......it isn't the bottom.........we can sink a lot further than this............if they don't employ a proper coach soon.........someone will have to regularly phone the local council to book a pitch down the nearest rec for next saturdays match against the Pig and Whistle pub.

This squad of players surely cannot be the worst side in the whole of the Football League,I don't believe that can be so...............then can it be the coaching set-up,tactics,playing formations, poor back-room staff, using players that make our midfield look static with no penetration qualities......or is it playing one striker at home who slaves away with no breaking support to help......or is it the lack of any possible goal scoring chances down to the fact that a young proven scorer can't get a game even at this level.........Tom Hitchcock is the lad in question....becoming frustrated and texting the fact (from a pasoti source) later to remove the comment.........he wont stay forever.........this is only Div 2 not a very strong league it will have to improve soon, fans will find more fun jumping off the Tamar bridge. Sorry but I feel a lot Better now....off to bed.

Pretty obvious there is lack of coaching-you only have to stand next to the pitch while the players are warming up before a game to see they are more or less left to their own devices.I had a bad feeling before the Crewe game just watching the body language of several players preparing for the match,at least when Sadler was around he got the players running and put through their paces and sweating a bit.The sad reality is right now it's not easy to identify a team we could actually beat on current form.As I said earlier teams like Crawley right now would destroy us on the pitch.

As form is dictated by results aka then obviously we are bound to be bottom of that league as well. My point is that we play good football. We aren't getting any reward for it right now but I still think it will come. Based on results that sounds a bit stupid I know but it is a gut feeling that once a result or two is forthcoming then the team will push on. I have not seen Argyle played off the park so far this season despite the results. The difference between us and them at the minute is scoring goals. Simplistic I know but if we can get that side of it going along with the style of play then we will be a force to reckon with.
