Somehow Mrs Reid I believe you, don't know why but call it gut feeling. So now that the bar staff are either melted into the sofa or dumped, does that mean we can have some new ones?
We should have an interview panel Mrs Reid and the ones with the most votes have the honour of serving us lol
Not sure how to take that last comment sensible I'm afraid I can't sack the staff as they've done nowt wrong, can't have claims of unfair dismissal now can we. Afraid you will have to put the barmaid in the fridge for a hour and GAT will have to mop up George's tears
I think you can Mrs Reid. The Barmaid definately lied on her CV and not only the information was false. George is also definately not what he advertises himself to be. We have had enough of people in Plymouth pretending to be something and turning out to be something else. We had a fair few who wore football boots doing that over the last few seasons but sadly they were unsackable. You should also not read anything into the other comment. I merely have a feeling you may be hard to keep up with is all as opposed to some who find it hard to keep it up sometimes.
Gills fan in peace Just been looking through the League Two board, thought I would just drop in and say hello as I guess you must be the second most active board members in this lowly and quiet league place. Look forward to the banter on the 20th August (I do pre match threads for my prediction league). Hopefully once the season gets under way, you might be able to increase your community on not606 even further, might be worth a go at seeing if you can get an article on NEWSNOW, might bring a few more in for you. Dependent on the search criteria used, I reckon you currently have about 56+ members, your all ways welcome to drop in on the Gills board or even the Blues Rock Cafe, a bit like this place but a few of us go there just to talk utter rubbish, when there is a lack of football chat. We also get a few visitors, mighty (Wall), Rocky (Wycombe) & Millens (BC or the Welsh contingent as I say!), all just a bit of harmless fun. brb
There was another trust meeting today, and apparently Brent came down to the meeting after being on an all night flight from India, before returning to N Devon for a birthday party .... trouble is with that man it shows he isnt committed lol
BRB Thanks for the invitation. If it comes to talking rubbish in this league, we'll be Champions before New Year's Day.
Good Morning All .... Distant when we post on here our views may not be shared by anyone else, but if its how "we" feel how can it be classed as rubbish. Its nice to read other people's view on things and sometimes it can make you question your own views ..... think the barmaid can be taken out of the fridge now Sensible. Hope you all have a lovely day !
any more news on your secret irish gib consortiun, has guilfoyle given them the boot. your second consortium, involving brent and the council leader sound more committed. good luck, shame about elder pulling out. you may need 2 strikers by 6.8.11 er coffee toast and the wmn please
[] There you go Jack. For the record, I can't have staff taking such a long time seving important customers such as yourself Jack so I will be replacing them when I get around to it. I will send the barmaid your way as requested but be warned she melts in the heat so keep her cool
Never appologise notdistant you will otherwise find it is habit forming. It becomes a bad place to be. Opinion, however poor is never a bad thing. It leads one to form their own and maybe share it which in turn provokes discussion. Discussion is never bad except where it turns into argument which is devisive. Don't you just love it when you have a blank canvas on a subject and it is then disected to the N'th degree until often a half decent idea comes out of it. Politicians call it think tanks. Actually having just disected that comment I realise that half decent ideas don't always arise given political think tanks who generally come up with a load of rubbish in the end. Damn, back to the drawing board. Well hasn't it been a really nice day weather wise in the South West. It is my wife's birthday today but we did have to spend part of it visiting. My daughter turned up with my Grandson and her husband this morning and they brought her a cake with candles which she had to blow out. It took half an hour to light them all and an oxygen mask from the fire brigade after when she couldn't blow them all out and we had to call them in. Mind you like all ladies she didn't mind a visit from a few strapping firefighters in uniform. Think she thought it was a strip-o-gram at first and was slightly disappointed when she realised it wasn't. Never mind, I'll chuck on my old dressing up one later and give it a go myself. Mrs Reid, you cannot send the barstaff on anywhere else. George looks like he has poured his last pint and the barmaid looks like a Picasso painting now. You will just have to bin them as waste.
