Anyone watch the Ladies World cup? I couldn't resist a chant of 'Oh Clairee, Clairee, Clairee, Clairee Rafferty' - then she missed the sodding penalty. Not like England to miss out on pens.
 
I watched some of it towards the end and the pen shoot out. Who missed the pen first? A bloody Chelsea player. Not much difference to the men's side really is it. To be fair they were hanging on for dear life for quite a long time and it was no surprise they lost in the end was it. The committment was there though and they did give it their all. The standard of play was quite impressive also.

Ok now on Wednesday I walked into the garage door ..... no not drunk I forgot to duck lol and I had a sore head for a few days ............ doesnt seem as if the footy season has ended as the U11's have either a friendly every weekend or a tournament .... got away with it today though as Dave's phone was being replaced so I waited at home for it to come ..... trying to get out to Staddiscombe on a Saturday with the road works is a nightmare takes about 45 mins to get through lol
 
Not you as well, Steve never lets me forget I once walked into a glass door I thought was open, I had my sunglasses on at the time and my excuse was they needed cleaning <laugh> Steve's conversation ice breaker that one lol
 
Glad I'm not the only one lol ..... what block are you going to sit in then ? thought I'd try block 12 as its on the halfway line
 
And thats just about where Halmosi does his warm up ..... that in itself is worth sitting there ..... try it for Larrieu's testimonial lol

Well, the sensible one is quite right really, this is the place for off topics. Happy hour is over now though so he may well come into the bar for a moan - sorry observation :emoticon-0105-wink:
 
OK <bubbly><bubbly><bubbly> Don't trip over the cleaner if you go into the loo, on second thoughts make sure you give him a good kicking. Oh and watch out for an old bald guy and a young barmaid, they might be hiding in the kitchen.
