    eeeeeeeeuuuuukkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!

No wonder the French go in for all that tongue business when kissing. They need to shift the snail debris around to allow for breathing space.

This site is becomming more and more like a wild life site than a football one. Just nipped upstairs for a comfort break and looked out the window. Sitting on the park outside was a fox and flying around the lampost, would you believe catching a couple of moths, was a bat. I'm going to have to get myself a David Attenborough outfit and start doing impressions. Only need a badger and a non-flat hedgehog and that's a complete set.

Premier Inn's air-conditioning broke down just before we arrived.....we had three fans trying to cool the room cool.....without much success....not easy to sleep.

PS......the three fans weren't Bournemouth supporters waving fans to and fro.

Well you had great weather for the break Plym.. yes it could be us one day in the Prem. Time we get there i doubt the money will be as good as its got to change... to much of it for those players its obscene... Change in the weather today.. I was at Paign ton on Tuesday eve and the sea was so rough for that coast, even tho the weather was warm. Never see any waves usually but the surfers were in and it was good for the Kayak.. hope fully the same today as hope to get in the water today.. still a bit cold in the sea..

Please everyone...have a drink on me whilst I tell you........ about a comedy that was played out in front of Mrs Plym and myself on Tuesday.

We had walked along the beach/water edge from Bournemouth to Sandbanks....stopping, as you do, for refreshments now and again....took about 2hrs a distance of about 3.5 miles.

Having arrived at the far end we sat down and watched the Sandbanks/Shell Bay (Studland & Swanage) chain ferry going to and fro.... a 4 minute crossing with up to 50 cars / Lorries a time. It saves a 25 mile journey onto the Isle of Purbeck by road, well worth the cost and time saved.

Along came two fellows...roughly 25ish I would say.....and trailing them 50 yds back was possibly their Granny.....they must of been Chinese because granny was wearing a full flowing emerald green flowered gown....plus flip flops and a coolie style silver hat.

The fellows were carrying fishing rods and had eloborate looking fishing tackle bags. They chose a spot in front of us and put there gear down and proceeded to set up their gear to start fishing. By now granny had arrived and had just a line and hook.....she baited her hook and plopped it in to the water right by the wall edge.....within moments she pulled out a fish possibly 15/18 inches long weighing say upto 2 lbs........the fellows where still preparing and looked amazed at what granny had just done......back into the water rebaited granny continued fishing, within two minutes she pulled out another one about the same size.....the two fellows looked on disbelieving what they were witnessing.....they had by now cast out further with there rods and of course no bites, no fish.

Then granny pulled out another one.....which was smaller and with disgust she threw it back in.....the two fellows were jumping up and down by now asking why she had thrown it back.....remember these two with all their gear hadn't even had a bite......they tried to fish close to the wall with their rods but it was difficult....in the end they put their rods down and started fishing granny fashion with just a line and hook.

By now they had inched granny along so they could fish in her spot.....then of course the inevitable happened granny who had been moved along caught a fourth fish, the biggest of the lot....by now Mrs Plym and I had tears of laughter running down our faces.......I had a great problem getting Mrs Plym to leave so we could start our return walk back to Bournemouth .........she just couldn't pull herself together to leave this comedy scene unfolding before us......I did look around but couldn't see any candid cameras set up.....it was right out of there style of filming.

Don't know that one sensible........but it was a definate case of " don't teach your granny to suck eggs" ....Mrs Plym could have sat there for hours watching the saga unfold.

Big well done to the ladies tonight. They did a lot better that the men have done for a long time now and they beat the Germans which is always a good thing. Saw the own goal from their last match and oh how hard it would be to repeat that one. So unlucky but at least they have something to show for it all. Will raise a glass or two.

Coming third and being top European side was quite an achievement, it is said that they will receive £14,000 for their efforts.

Now if Rooney gets £300,000 a week for playing for his club,.....that means the ladies who came THIRD in the WORLD CUP have been paid roughly 8hrs of his over inflated wages.....now that can't be right can it.....not that long ago, playing for England was done by the girls forking out their expenses from their day jobs.....Rooney wouldn't know what a day job was if it hit him in the face, he's never worked for a living in his life.

Thank you Sky for what you've done to football and others have since joined in the obscene side show with the huge TV pay-out. How can any player be worth what Rooney and others get.....£1,785 per hour.

While the rest of us watch teams in the lower leagues living on the dregs and picking up players on freebies and loans from bigger clubs.
