If you mean the Deep Throat saga then this has been going on for quite a while now and there are pages of it on The Terraces section. 25 to be precise and now into page 9 on ATD. As far as I understand this sorry tale Deep Throat was an account set up and used by the Moderators to post things in the past in secret. Harmlessly started but then posts appeared stiring things up for The Trust who certain people were against getting a toe hold into anything. The originator of the account being none other than Mr Newell (who else) who supposedly gave the password to somebody else who did the stiring. All would have remained secret had not somebody questioned who Deep Throat was and others began to look into it in more detail. The general feeling amongst ordinary mortals rather than the "in crowd" is that this is underhand and stinks of conspiracy and they are demanding to know who the secret poster was against the Trust. It is facinating to read the wriggling that is going on with everyone and his dog trying to distance themselves from naming names. I don't think the questioners are going to go away on this one though and blood is smelt. ATD are of course quite happy to see this state of affairs and it sort of vindicates them with their own criticisms of Newell and Webb previously telling anyone who would listen that they are not to be trusted. Just their opinion of course but there at least seems to be some truth in the Newell part of that although a possibility that Mr Pres might yet be implicated somewhere. I think there are a lot more episodes of this to run yet but you need a bit of stamina to plough through all the posts.
sensible......you have obviously been following this saga a lot closer than I can be bothered to do.........you do feel at times that football and in particular PAFC just gets in the way of a slagging match and to what end..........if Newell is at the bottom of this, and also him having some control or even owning pasoti, a serious problem in my mind comes to the surface. How can someone own a supporters website that is obviously not neutral and supporting only the highs and lows of a football club, and have supporters (members) who are all united in the cause..........why a power struggle in the first place........you've got to remember that Argyle have only recently come out of administration and are a struggling fourth tier club........why does any one person or group want to inflict so much hassle on a struggling football club.
Chelsea are ok, prefer to watch them than that shower of yours Plym. Ashley Young To Partner Tom Daley At The 2012 Olympics's. (click twice on image to fully enlarge)
aj found a solitary ginsters pasty in the freezer and i had it for lunch. now i have rampant indigestion. allow me to judge the pasty on presentation, pastry, vegetables, meat and overall presentation- the pasty looked good after removing from wrapper 7/10 pastry -tasteless and not pleasant 3/10 vegetables- potato and turnip or swede-the best thing in it 7/10 meat- minced, heavily peppered and revolting 1/10 overall- a most disapointing product, which i am sure tinminers would walk a long way to avoid. 4.5/10 there you have it, good luck tomorrow against oxon, make sure you win. oh for a rennie!
atcham jack you have read this website enough previously to have been seriously warned about consuming Ginsters pasties. I have no sympathy for you whatsoever even if you are nice to Argyle. Hope you stitch on your result tomorrow.
We're back from the dead ! We're back from the dead ! Plymouth Argyle are back from the dead ! We are staying up, the greens are staying up .... Well done Argyle we've only gone and done it ! Drinks are on me
GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMY Never in doubt, well maybe a little, start of the local carnival today and Argyle secure safety I think it is going to get messy tonight!!!! You better take a loan out if your buying the drinks Gat
I don't mind how much the bill is lol ....can now sit and watch the remaining games without chewing nails lol
My fingers have just stopped bleedy after the Aldershot game!!! Still first time for a long time we can start a season without the relegation hangover and maybe get off to a better start.
Free drinks in the bar all night until you drop, in celebration of THE GREENS STAYING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're gonna have a party!!!
Have a good evening all....you all deserve it....getting past my bedtime as have to be up at 5am for work! CHEERS!
Bleddy work bedoboy?????? Throw a sicky and get your glad rags on. It was a decent game today and we played quite well for most of it. Oxford are a decent side and a draw given their position was no bad result. We deserved our point and am so relieved it is all over now. Not that I didn't think it was before today but it is nice to see it confirmed. I'll have several bottles of champers as a starter. It was strange to walk away from the ground today to hear the singing going on. You would have thought it was a promotion party and not an escape party but I guess it feels like a promotion to most.
Would any of you like a piece of my cake my friend Dee made for me ? Help yourself (Click on it to enlarge) (Click on it to enlarge)
Well a fun night tonight me and the MAMS, Mexican Argyle Massive Supporters, painted the town green. Should have got a video of me and my five work mates on stage singing the greens are staying up but way too drunk for that!! Seems strange to celebrate not being the biggest losers but after the last couple of years and the start to this season almost as sweet as promotion. Thanks for the cake GAT may reduce the hangover but not to sure and TBH I am happy to suffer tomorrow
I know Sensible but threw a couple 2wks ago with that flu bug I had but Wed. night will make up for it as w/end starts here then!....had a good sleep last night too...wonder why?
