TBH I have had a very stressful day today and sporting matters have only made it worse, Andy Murray lost against Federer in the Dubai final (after beating no less than Djokovic in the semi) and then Argyle lose - made worse by the cross board thread brb put up and arguments ensuing there. All in all a totally crap day!

I am now speaking to you via the services of a Medium as I decided to shoot myself, after shooting brb's horse as a punishment. Or at least I should be except I got the Argyle forward line to help and between us we all missed.

Don't despair Mrs lalala. Have a lie down in a darkened room and things will seem a whole lot worse in the morning.

That was my positive spin following today plymborn. You just keep getting on your Red Bus or watching Man U from the comfort of your armchair. Some of us have to go to Home Park and watch the death throes.

Tell you what Mrs lalala, have a bottle of Gin or Vodka or whatever your spirit tipple is. The hangover will seem a lot better to deal with than the prospects of the next home match. For what it's worth though, my mates, son and I had a conversation after today's spectacle about next season and the prospect of the BSP. It was about would we still go or not. I as you would imagine Unhesitatingly said I would. My son was less kean. My mate's dad was not so kean either. My mate said of course he would. Saturday afternoon was for watching football no matter what was being played and having a pint or two after. So, that's 2 for next season then.

Sensible you have my utmost respect, you are greener than most greens, you are willing to put yourself through non league football for the good of your home team. You are special (needs) indeed!

I can't help it Mrs lalala. It's a little known medical condition called greentinitus. Eventually it drives you insane and leaves you stuck in an armchair unable to move. However it also makes you watch cookery programmes and antique shows on the tv so that you never invest in sky and become an armchair follower of premiership teams. Quite a happy ending really.

Bottle of Champers barman if you please. I've just watched the second half of the Man U v Bilbao match and seen them lose at home. Worth a celebration or two methinks. Old plymborn isn't having a good week as both his teams have lost now. That's Charlton and Man U in case you have any doubts barman. Great week for football in Plymouth though.

It was a tense afternoon bedoboy. Right up to the last minute I didn't know which way to look. Should I have the pasty or pie. In the end the pasty won which is quite normal really.

As for the football, easy 3 points really and never in doubt except for the second half in it's entirety. Extra time seemed to take forever and they kept getting corners and things up our end. I could do without all this but I guess that's Argyle for you. Never do anything the easy way.
