The Photoshop Thread

OK, I am bored, but other teams have a PS thread and they seem to do quite well. It doesnt have to be anything amazing, just show off your skills, and even if you dont have any, you can still have a go.

Can be anything (within the rules anyway), Obviously I done the banner, so I wont be putting that in here, but I have just done this, remember its 02:30am though.

So lets try to keep this going, and have a bit of a laugh at the same time.

If it was up to me i would also say no face in the hole or morphing sites, has to be PS or Gimp or similar, but its not so whatever syd says.
 
If you see the original of that you will get it, but tbh its pretty sick and not very funny at all. (even if it was mike ashley i wouldnt find it funny)

Looks like i am the only one thats going to post anything in here, mind you making the thread on Transfer Deadline day didnt help.

All i have done since is 3 banners for the Newcaste forum so i may as well stick these in here to bump the thread.

they can only have 10 in the poll so my top one is being entered.

someone else must be able to do some stuff in photoshop from the sunderland fans, other photoshop threads in other forums have got pages upon pages.
 
Surely the Bridge is both Newcastle and Gateshead, the bottom one shows the quayside of newcastle from the Gatehead side.

And one of their fans said why not have the angel of the north, so i put that into the top one, i think it works quite well.

As for Photoshop, either download it (dodgy copy) or download gimp from http://www.gimp.org its free and I hve heard its just as good as Photoshop.

And i wasnt going to use this thread for banners, but it was dead and it needed bumping, so only thing i could stick in to bump it. (i hate just doing a Bump)

Can you recommend anywhere safe to download it from Steve?

I looked through the Mags photoshop page and was absolutely howling with laughter, some cracking stuff on it.

It's Gateshead Millenium Bridge, as the foundation stone was laid that side, i believe, it used to be my view from the living room window, it's a smashing bit of architecture.

That said, Gateshead and Newcastle council seem to think before they build, sadly this foresight is lacking on Wearside.

The Gimp will do you BB. (Getting worried typing that so often its what those nice cam girls call the punters as in BABY!)
The Gimp is free and has nearly all PS functionality.

As for adding to the thread I never seem to have the time to play with PS.
As my time is spent posting reasoned and sensible posts on here, finding time is hard. :p
 
I just use usenet/newsgroups to download, and if you are not in a private tracker, i wouldnt recomend any of them tbh, you could try isohunt/demonoid/pirate bay, but you`re in spain arent you? I thought the copywrite laws were really slack over there.

I would send you it via email, but i only have the adobe creative suite ISOs 3 of them all over 4 gig, so will take me weeks lol

You could look for photoshop portable, its a lot smaller than 12 gig.

I'd say i'll give the gimp a stab, but that sounds like something i don't wish to post on a public forum...

cheated a bit here lads, although strictly speaking photoshop is not my expertise, I'm purely Illustrator, I am a graphic designer by trade !

But if anyone wants to see a real funny thread, check out the Liverpool photoshop one.............

Far to technical, and time consuming.
 
Give me some ideas to work with, size colour pics text aand i will see what i can do, but saying just do me a banner, leaves a hell of a lot to the imagination lol
