Yes.The old bucket of water (cold!) and a sponge! Worked wonders. I can see now the spectacle of the Brazilian "trainer" in the 50's running on the field with umpteen bottles of (plonk?) to revive his injured players! Seemed very strange to the British fan of the day. Cecil Poynton was the first Spurs trainer that I ever saw. Former Spurs player too,I believe. I think under Keith the "trainer" got a little modernized....and I can't put a name to the fellow....and I'm trying, blast it!!!!
"I think under Keith the "trainer" got a little modernized....and I can't put a name to the fellow." Mike Varney was Spurs physio during a fair bit of Keithys' reign.

Interesting photo....because one of those figures would be leaving for bloody Arsenal.Oh Pat.how could you do it.....but it wasn't your fault!
No,Chris Jones is missing......but my favourite at that time is there.John Duncan! West Ham fans said he played as though he was wearing wellington boots but he knew how to score goals!!!!!
"Friends Reunited? That's still going?" 1. Well the server that holds that piccie obviously is. 2. Rhetorical question (as you surely must have searched on "friends reunited" "charlotte thorsveldt" by now) ... ??
"No need, I already have her on Facebook. Haven't added her on Linkedin yet" Only an amateur Charlotte stalker would not be fully aware of / Internet fwends with everyone she went to school with.
"Which one, though? University of Oslo or LSE?" I expect you to have been in contact with ALL of her previous classmates. Wherever she was educated.
