City win, Liverpool win, Man City win and Chelsea win on Wednesday.

Result - us out of the relegation zone with 2 games to go, and Chelsea well and truely out of the title race with a Champions' League final coming soon after the last day of the season....

Obviously everything else is academic if we dont beat Sunderland so I hope those of you making the trip to the other end of the earth get right behind the boys in blue!!

Good luck but I think Sunderland will win and may shock everyone with a Houdini act. Best wishes to the travelling support too because that's a trip and a half up there. <applause>

On a side note the Swans are mathematically safe so for me it's already a perfect week. :)

Congrats, although you guys were never going down in reality - do you now see this season as an escape or a disappointment? I genuinely expected you to be challenging for top 10...

Unfortunately, given recent form, the smart money may well be on a Sunderland win, although I would be more than happy for us to be the 'after the lord mayors show' for them. A dull, painful, sleep inducing 1-0 win with an own goal in the 92nd minute will suit me just grand :)
 
As I am of the belief that Sunderland will win and thus Cardiff will again be playing catch up, I thought it fitting that I post again and allow that dude back on your board as a farewell gesture <laugh>

I would hope that if it is a draw with 10 minutes to go all hell will break loose. Both teams are all but down if it ends a draw (IMO) - it is an absolute must win for both. 'Kitchen sink and then some' would be the order of the final few minutes.

Some of our fans were saying top six and Jamie Redknapp didn't help by agreeing with them <laugh>

Europe killed us this season definitely but it was a good adventure. Beating Valencia at the Mestalla was the highlight but it was downhill after that. Lots to be pleased about but I think ultimately most will be disappointed.
 
Cardiff win IMO - let's have another couple of derbies next season!!!!!! Fulham dropped points today and Norwich are f**ked! Between you and Sunderland and absolutely confident that you will get the win! C'mon you Bluebirds!!!!!!!!
 
cardiff's problem is their defense and can you imagine if marshal was not in goal what the goals against would be now. It would be a record i bet. They can score but i think their defense will let them down.
 
Nothing but a Sunderland win is all I can see, agent Borini to get the first goal for the Black cats.........<ok>

Cardiff need the win more than Sunderland imo as we have a game in hand, if Cardiff lose then I'm afraid it's all over for you guys, pity one of us have to join Norwich and Fulham who both look doomed

Fair point - although that game in hand is away to man utd isnt it?!

Havent seen your last 2 games, they may be a lot nicer than ours.

But I take your point, a draw would be more terminal for us than it would for you!

Slightly nervous now :P.... I cant bring myself to say 'may the best team win' as I dont give a s*** who the best team is as long as we win! But all the best anyway!
 
Cardiff have carved out a huge opportunity to remain in the Premier from the mess they had to function through off the pitch . They hold the key to theyre own future in 90 minutes today . An outright win today puts the Bluebirds in the driver seat for 17th place and a chance to start over the right way next season . Good luck

West brom at home is our game in hand, looking good for us now after that result, but Cardiff looking doomed imo

Yep, we are toast now. Fancy your chances though, and well played today fully deserved victory. I wrote you off 2 weeks ago but think its between you and Fulham for survival right now, and I make you favourites! Good luck..
 
Yep - just logged back on after an afternoon of family "commitments", and have to say that Sunderland were a different class today from us in spirit and passion.

Well done Mackems, at least we'll have a decent chance of winning a few games in the Championship next year - this season has been a bridge too far for us.
 
Cheers lads hopefully if yous do go down you can bounce straight back up, also I was impressed with your support today, sang til the end, despite facing the inevitable
