I'm fine....as long as Saints don't actually play a match. I would really rather they didn't.

Surely the most English pronunciation would be panic-om-itter ?

We could use the DefCon markings 1 to 5 but call it DeffGone....see what I did there.

    I'm at DeffGone 3.

    This is due to:
    1. Losing 3 very good players and bringing in what looks like 'meh' players.
    2. As soon as we got Europa League football we should be thinking about strengthening not increasing bench warmers.
    3. The strange belief that because we did very well by hitting the ground running last season we'll do it again, with lots of untried players.
    4. The knowledge that if anyone does really well next season they will want to go to Spurs or Liverpool two months before the season ends regardless of how we are doing.

Right then. First things first. Let me get my sandals from out of the fridge.

Ok, that's better. Panic O'Meter, eh? Sounds like Pompeys latest signing from the Irish Conference. Well, I am nicely chilled. It has to be a 1 for me. Club in good hands, and boy, are these sandals comfy or what?:)

Ha ha. I am a bit more chilled now, so my last response was a bit OTT. How embarrassing. It's not like I can use a wet-behind-the-ears teenager as an excuse either :emoticon-0111-blush

Having said that it would be really nice if a really good improving player that we improved from a bad start actually wanted to stay with us - [JRod only stayed because of his injury] but hey what can you do? I also think the message from Les Reed is a little concerning, because only a fool would think that our squad was big or strong enough last season, let alone this season.

For the record I think it needs improving with quality and some quantity. Otherwise we are going to pay and I don't think two quality signings is going to be enough because we all know injuries cost us last season.

I am a lot more chilled out about it though! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Panicomiter? Isn't that the name of the Greek finance minister?
