I'm going to post links to the worst of it, so that others can make up their own minds.

But, if what you say is correct, Mr enigma, that I was as bad as your board's idiots, why haven't they been threatened with bans?

PISKIE reckons that the mods like to strike a balance.

Cym, the title of your PM was "wumming on the Arsenal board" and what you wrote was this (PM in its entirety):-

The implication of your message is very clear: that if I continue to "wum" on your board I will be banned.

Yet, your thread does not state any of the following:-

1. who has complained

2. the nature of the complaint

3. what comments I am supposed to have made that had been deemed worthy of censure

4. what it was about my behaviour that needs correcting

In short, you have warned me that I will be banned if I do not mend my ways, but without specifying what it is I have done wrong. You have accused me of something, but have forgotten to specify the exact charge.

The problem I have with that is two-fold.

Firstly, as far as I am concerned, I have written nothing on your board that would be deserving of a ban or of deletion and, indeed, the fact that I haven't been banned or had any of my comments pulled, is proof of that fact. What we are left with is simply my being warned for nothing more than that some of your (unnamed) posters didn't like some of my comments. Well, here's a surprise, I don't like most of the comments they make, but that doesn't justify a ban, nor would I seek such a thing.

Secondly, your PM makes absolutely no reference to the vile personal insults and foul language I have had continually directed against me by the likes of Jayram and Sirtfire, or that you have written to them to inform them that should there be a repeat of such behaviour, against any poster, they will be banned. PISKIE talks about balance, but there is absolutely none displayed in your PM.

The sad truth of the matter, whether you or PISKIE have the courage to admit it or not, is that you will ban me simply because the likes of Jayram and his imbecilic friends will hound you enough with PMs until you do. It's the simplest option for you to take. What you should do, of course, if you truly believe that you are being fair and reasonable, is ban them from your board and let me, and every other decent poster, engage in the football debate that we sign up to this site to engage in.

The problem is, that the abuse I'd been receiving from the AFC idiots had been occurring over a number of threads. Typically, what would happen is, I would comment on a thread (quite sensibly, no nasty bile, no foul language, no personal insults), and one of the idiots would pop up to take a swipe at me, for no other reason than that I was a Spurs fan commenting on the AFC board.

But there was one particular thread where I had it out with the idiots and many of the AFC regulars came out in my support. If it hasn't been wiped, I'll post links to it. Give me a few minutes to try to find it.

Or, is what you are saying, here, is that I can go back on your board and continue posting in the same sensible vein as I did before, and you will not ban me?

Even if, as is inevitable, the imbeciles on your board start complaining?

You're not exactly endearing yourself to the Arsenal mods with your rants.
I'd suggest that you PM us to sort this out, copy in Syd and PNP if you feel you need to.
I see no value in airing your dirty laundry in public.

Mate, did you seriously not expect to get a hard time from some members with comments like "forth place is spurs to lose" and "the only difference between us last season was nasri and fab" come on, any spurs fans reading this, would you of expected any different if you went onto the arsenal board? Yes some fans gave you personal insults that were below the belt, but some on your comment were quite antagonistic, now it didn't bother me, because im pretty confident I can hold my own in a debate, but some people just lash out and insult, thats just the way some people are. If a liverpool fan went onto the man u board saying similar things they would probably get a lot worse than you got.

And with regard to the warnings, if the mods receive 4 or 5 messages about you then they have to act, im sure your mods would do the same thing if the roles were reversed. You weren't banned from the board, just given a friendly warning to stop ruffling feathers, its no big deal, so stop trying to make it out to be more than it is.
