Was an interesting race, however given the tyre wear and people's issues I feel it could have been a cracker with out the vsc as Hamilton just didn't seem with it on softs.

Was an interesting race but only because of unreliability. I didn't watch the race live but now have. I skipped it as I presumed it would be boring. F1 is still broken

Mercedes really are absolutely hopeless when it somes to strategy. Great when they're out front and not having to react to anything, otherwise they're hopeless. Didn't have any impact on the outcome, but they drop the ball so frequently.

You watch, next time Merc will over react, only to discover that was the wrong call and would have been better to stay out because all the others tyres are lasting. They need to rehearse the scenarios more before the race, all permutations of tyre wear, the lap, the time difference, the traffic, the performance of others.

what is it with Wolff.. would it make mistake.again

already have.. 3 times or more.

    1. clear single stop race.

    2. virtual safety car thrown.

    3. at least 30 seconds to decide.

    4. worried about teams splitting strategy

5 why were they not worried about just einning race????

ps.any safety car = free pit stop.

only very late where track.position takes precedent does it not.always.make sense

even Merc admitted 80% of.time stop is right call.

Which is exactly what made F1 in years passed so unpredictable.
It's seems neither Merc or Hamilton have learned the lessons of the past, if the team don;t make the call then he must.

Vowles having to apologise on the radio, public humiliation really. Unneeded and unprofessional, Mercedes need to grow up. Makes me question whether they have a no blame culture or not.
