Staying on the original topic, as someone who has seen all of the nominated films, my personal pick would be Hacksaw Ridge or Manchester by the Sea.
Think La La Land will win though. That's gonna win quite a few IMO. Good film, but not the best one for me.

Clips I've seen look like a really **** musical...but to be fair I haven't really paid much attention to it
I don't really like musicals, but I enjoyed watching it.
Though definitely not everyone's cup of tea.
