We will beat Millwall at the Den, because... Harris will only have one game plan after their double success last year Much has been made of our tailspin following defeat away last September Bielsa will have studied both last year's games Bielsa will have his own strategy worked out and drilled into the team to combat that game plan. Millwall are s***e I rest my case against the sideboard, M'Lud.
Sorry chaps, WiFi in holiday flat is on the blink But my comments are so good they are worth reading twice, possibly
Our next opponents are Milwall FFS, but instead of talking about a football team I'm going to give it a pass this week because 1) they don't do footy down there and 2) they just do clogball. Instead I am going to give you a tourists eye view of the top places to see for any travelling Leeds fans, and lets be honest if you are going, give the game a miss and check out the local highlights instead. I have spent 48 hours trying to find something to do down in Bermondsy that doesn't involve watching porn, have anything to do with gay bum sex or indeed incest. HMS Belfast - A ship Maltby St market - A market White Cube - an art gallery for right-on twats of which there are only 4 in Bermondsy all the rest are inbred 6 finger types. The Scoop - An outdoor venue. Well after all the research that's all I could find. So why not take in the match and then depress yourself after by doing the tourist route. Better still get the fk out and head back North as fast as you can
Millwall apparently have a secret weapon, Morison...... he's into cosplay and is expecting this to enable them to beat Leeds But Lions skipper Morison – who used to play for the Elland Road club – can’t wait for the chance to face his old employers. “I’ll turn up, pull out my Zlatan Ibrahimovic kit, whack that on and take care of it,” he said. “Every now and again I seem to have the game of my life.
Well probably do the tourist route on the coaches when we get a police escort that takes us into the centre of London. Last year ended up on Westminster Bridge and it felt weird being where a recent terrorise attack had taken place. Was glad to get away from there to be honest. The other route out down Old Kent Road was like trying to get out of the Alamo it was that bad the first time they took us out that way, when coming under attack from the residents of the pubs along the route. Just happy to get away safely. A couple of Leeds fans got beaten up last season when they took a wrong turn so if you are travelling in any other way than the coaches, make sure you have your wits about you
Tuesday night will see PNE visit ER and I have a feeling that a certain Scottish manager is in for one hell of a beating. I say this because he has been the only manager to beat us this season but it was in the funny named drink Cup. Yes Bielsa wanted to win but didnt moan after the slip up because he knew we were not going to win it and our concentration is on the league. The second string team we put out that night was still learning Bielsaball so a bit of an excuse. I think Bielsa will want to smash PNE in this game to prove a point to Alex Neil. PNE are a funny team if you forget about Ridsdales relationship with them. I had a lot of time for them when Grayson was manager and believe he laid the groundwork for the progress that they have made, indeed Larry had them hovering around the promotion area when he decided to leave. He had already got them into L1 play offs only to fail but then won the play offs in season 14/15 getting them promoted to the Championship, so did a fine job. Grayson was in charge for 235 games winning 104 of them so had a win ratio of 43%, but if you discounted his Championship results you would see his win ratio of +60% so not shabby, but 43% in this league is ok. Alex Neil who took over from Larry 54 games ago has only won 22 of those giving him a win ratio of 40%. WE SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT A TEAM COMING TO ER WITH ONLY A 40% WIN RATIO UNDER THEIR PRESENT MANAGER!! I write this on Friday Sept 14th, the day before we go to London with a weakened team of kids and spazes but win convincingly 3-0 against the Wall. *I will either be known as the ORACLE or the Bellend for the Wall prediction, but still feel very confident of a weakened team smashing PNE on Tuesday
Next onto Birmingham at Home on Saturday and I expect a tough feisty affair because of Monk, Pep Clotet, Daryl Flahaven, James Beattie. Birmingham have a history and came back into prominence with owners like Sullivan & Gold and Pesciceldo's wife karen Brady and these 3 are all running West ham United now, still running porn empires etc. Remember when they had Barry Fry as gobby manager and he then went to Peterborough and eventually bought the club...... When Fry left the Sullivan porn gang paid shed loads of cash to get Steve Bruce as manager, he spent shed loads of cash and actually got them promoted to the Prem. Birmingham were always a bit of a bogey side for us and with players like Geoff Horsfield were forever breaking our hearts. Brum have been a bit up and down but mainly up in the Prem until the wheels fell off in recent times and now find themselves in the Championship. Parachute money dried up and having a huge wage bill and breaking FFFP rules and getting a transfer embargo. Monk was brought in after he had his contract paid up by Middelsboro after only spending half a season there and nearly bankrupting them. He couldnt work miracles and struggled to keep them from relegation last season. I expect Monk to be sacked again before too long, and hope for a humiliating defeat at Leeds Utd this weekend. Chris Wilder (Blades) said recently that although on paper Birmingham finances are not good, but he said the wages get paid, the hotel bills get paid, catering and food still gets paid for so the players dont ever have to worry. They have a good squad of seasoned, skillful players and can do some damage if not marshaled. They made losses of over £39m and are struggling to sort it but at the moment they have not had a points deduction and if they do it could well mean that the season with regards to relegation is over already as we could soon see 3 teams getting 12 points deducted which will relegate all 3 teams. Birmingham have a small squad of only 25 players but have some decent kids too and could be like a wounded animal unless care taken. I expect another home performance like last nights Preston game, where Monk is made to look silly, but we always keep our fingers crossed. Players of Note: Pederson Harding Gardner Jutkiewicz Vassell Bogle
I suspect that says even more about Monk than it does Pep. I agree about the game on saturday we are there to be shot at and Monk and Co will want to make a statement, so 2-0 to Leeds
I know I still think he is better than Monk, who with the resources availabe to him at a newly relegated club also got the sack. Matter of opinion but there you go.
