Hotting up to be a good one. Great rounds from Rose and Woods today, and fantastic that Woods is doing so well. Hope they are still in touch once the leaders finish, but may be unlikely, benign conditions. 7 of the top 10 are Americans, but as we all know they can’t play links golf........

I've got 10/1 for either Rose or Fleetwood to win. Neither are out of it, but I wish Fleetwood had had Rose's round yesterday.

Looks like wind might be a factor today.

I like Tiger as a golfist, if not as a person from what I can gather about him. One of the best of all time. I think it would be a great sporting moment if he goes on to win this open.

What's the secret to a good final round at the Open? Feeling rough.

"I was a little hungover. I had too much to drink last night," says clubhouse leader Eddie Pepperell.

"I was so frustrated with yesterday that today was - I wouldn't say a write-off, but I didn't feel as though I was in the tournament.

"I just had some wine with my coach. We drowned our sorrows for about half an hour. It was enjoyable. I didn't really think I had that much to drink. I'm just a lightweight!"

Those rosy red cheeks are a giveaway Eddie...

A play-off would be over four holes, but I haven't heard them say which four. If it's 15 through 18 it will be interesting.

The 1999 Open at Carnoustie when Van der Velde did a Devon Loch, the play off holes were 15 - 18.
