So it has not escaped the notice of other fans that we can't fill the bench. Charles-Cook looked a good prospect until one of our many managers decided to play him at full-back, then he got injured. Hanlan was my type of player when in the U-18's, always wanting the ball, worked like a Trojan, so I hope he does well too. According to the text commentary he hit the post and the bar yesterday.

Hanlan was very unlucky not to score, he did however have 2 assists.
2 games in and both Hanlan and Cook have been stars, I still can't believe we got both of them for nothing.

Krystian Bielik (20) has not played in a competitive game since May 2017.

In the summer of 2017 he suffered a shoulder injury that needed surgery.
As a result he was not loaned out at the beginning of the 2017-18 season. He did go out on loan to Walsall in January this year but he never played any football.
Apparently he was sidelined by injuries there as well, beginning with a knee problem and later some hamstring trouble.

No wonder RD wanted us to prioritise a centre half.

Alan Nixon from the Sun hinting that Bauer could be loaned out now with the intention of him being bought in January with the Arsenal loanee coming in.
