Hi Folks, I've was trying for months to get a keyring I liked (it had a ball in the centre, not that awful teddy one) and it was always "sold out". Now, checking again, it seems they've replaced it with another (the only one I want) and guess what... sold out! I can't remember now what else I was looking at (months back) but most of it was "sold out" also. I realise they aren't selling millions but surely they can sort out enough to have a constant stock. Anyone else have any experience like this with the "Superstore"? What's it like actually going in? I have no idea when I'll be in Swansea again but I might just pop in next time I'm down.
I'm surprised as items like that don't take up a lot of room (stock wise), I'm lucky in that I can just pop in but for exiles it must be a pain. (I'll swop you one for a Home Centenary shirt )
How big is this shop? I've never actually been in Funny 'innit, you take things for granted when you live there and now I'm in the wilderness I really miss it. Granted, some parts are ****ty, like anywhere else, but the rose tinted specs help in that regard
Speaking as a buyer, the stock situation is shocking. Someone needs their wrists slapped! Maybe they should give me a job....
I find the club shop terrible. The level of stock is poor, the price is extortionate and the women working in there are the most miserable bunch of fcukers I have ever encountered. They must be on the blob 24/7. That said there is one bloke that works there and he's tidy enough
If you really want to get annoyed ,go there after Xmas during the fire sale , practically giving it away .
To be fair the keyring I wanted is only £2.99. The postage however is £4.95! You should have sent Mikra in to sort them out
I've always found the on line store pathetic, never anything available. Yet go in the shop and they have stock. It's been said time and again our commercial department is very amateurish.
Phoned the shop once and after waiting a while, it was answered "we are busy" and they hung up. Not the most professional. They have done a makeover of the actual stock, but didn't bother putting in any changing rooms. With the amount of leisure clothing this would have been a good idea!
