The Olympics is just a bunch of privileged rich kids having fun in the main. A gathering of posh families congratulating eachother for spending the most money on their kids.
Some, not all. For example good boxers are often from tougher backgrounds.
But yeah, all the equestrian types must have had serious money. And other sports that require expensive equipment and / or private lessons.
