the ****ing size of semenya's arms, and the jawline, it's ridiculous, especially for this distance, her to be that size and fast ... look at her in comparison to the other girls

Didn't she get assessed to be like officially unisex or whatever ?!

Yeah suffers from hyperandrogenism apparently...in other words the dial wavers towards man....

It is an interesting one..they don't allow tansgender and yet they have lower levels of testosterone than this girl...so what makes a woman...the birth certificate?

it is interesting, i appreciate gender is fluid for many people but when you get into sport with something like this it goes beyond an intellectual thing or way of thinking about yourself and becomes biological and physiological for a case like semenya, her bodily composition is very masculine, it's not just that she feels like she should have been born a man like some women who have otherwise 'normal' female biological genetics and physical characteristics

the fact that nothing was said by commentators during the race speaks volumes about the obviously dodgy situation and edginess around her being there

i wouldn't have her in the mens or womens, she'd just have to not be an athlete ... i understand her situation and don't have any prejudice or issue whatever with people like that, it's obviously not her fault she was born like that, but there's no fair fit for her in sport, put her with women and she always has a massive competitive advantage, put her with men and it's not enough and you'd get people saying it's unfair and discriminatory, too much for her ... choose something that isn't sport is what they should've said to her

Yeah..from all accounts she identifies as a woman ...it's a hard one. Apparently the authorities have a limit of testosterone and she currently is under it...anther indian athlete was originally banned but got back in on appeal. The other athletes for obvious reasons have asked that the authority revisit the level they've set.

She's apparently 2 seconds clear of all other competitors...it kind of blurs the whole drug issue..the argument that they are unnaturally increasing their hormone levels to gain physical advantage. While obviously She isn't doing it deliberately it's being done to her by a medical condition...the result is the same: it's not a genetic stroke of luck like long legs etc it's an abnormality...
