So far our players (Welsh) are doing ok.

Allen and Giggs seeing quite a bit of the ball, Taylor and Bellamy not south but all four don't look out of place. Some of the English lads look like they've never even met before.

Micha and Tompkins, quite possibly the worst pairing cb's iv ever seen.

To be honest I don't rate Taylor's performance at all. He's been caught out of position several times and Garth Crooks reckons that most of the problems are coming down our left flank - he's not far wrong although the centre back pairing is rubbish.

Joe is prominent and trying to play but there's no understanding in midfield. Bellamy and Giggs are contributing very little in a team playing like strangers, which I suppose they are. I'm concentrating on the Welsh lads because I want them to do well but I don't see any medals for this team. Let's hope that Scotty shines in the second half.

I watched the women's game earlier it was predictably not very good. I thought the men's warm up match would be a better game. I was wrong.

Hope Scott and Caulker do themselves proud. Four of our last seasons team playing at the moment. Wether you agree or disagree with team GB its still an massive honour for our club

Fair play to Taylor, he had a much better second half interestingly at right back. Joe grafted with little help but an all round better half from GB although they were always second best to a much better team. Not surprising as Brazil have played as a team for a whole season and worth, according to the commentators, about £300 million collectively.

I wonder if Joe realised that, if he went to Liverpool, he might experience something similar to tonight, in that he will have to develop an understanding with his team mates that could take some time - an understanding that he takes for granted playing with Leon and the rest of the lads.

We live in hope.
